Las Pisadas de Cristo en el Antiguo Testamento Parte III es un estudio de la presencia del Mesías en los libros proféticos. Las huellas de Jesucristo están presentes desde que abrimos la Biblia comenzando con el libro del Génesis. Son aproximadamente 400 profecías en el Antiguo Testamento sobre la persona de Jesucristo que se han cumplido y otras que siguen cumpliéndose a través de la historia hasta que Jesucristo lleve el reino de Dios a todo su esplendor y lo entregue a su Padre. El futuro es la prueba de la profecía. Es la comprobación del profeta como verdadero o un falso. Si la profecía no se cumple, no se puede aceptar el mensaje y dicho mensajero es un palabrero más que no merece que se les dé atención a sus escritos.Isaías es reconocido como el profeta evangélico por su abultado mensaje mesiánico. Las referencias de Jesucristo se encuentran entrelazadas entre las exhortaciones fuertes a Israel por su precaria situación espiritual. Desde su comienzo, su autor se dirige a Israel llamándola una nación pecadora, un pueblo cargado de maldad. En ese ambiente, muy fértil para introducir al único que puede perdonar pecados, el profeta anuncia el nacimiento y reinado universal de Jesucristo. Su mayor contribución profética en cuanto al sufrimiento del Siervo de Dios lo detalla en el capítulo 53 -un excelente tratado de toda la angustia del Hijo de Dios desde que los ángeles anunciaron su llegada a la tierra hasta que en la cruz dijo a su Padre: "Consumado es," entregó su espíritu y luego resucitó. Todos los profetas (mayores y menores) anunciaron pequeños detalles sobre el ministerio de Jesús en la tierra. Miqueas con mucha precisión menciona el lugar de nacimiento, Belén o casa de pan. Zacarías nos hace reflexionar lo significante de mencionar el precio pagado a Judas por entregar al maestro a las autoridades judías -treinta piezas de plata o el pago por un esclavo; dejando entender la importancia del hecho que Jesús murió, llevando consigo todos los pecados del mundo.

Todos pecaron como lo manifiesta Pablo, pero David tuvo la caracterstica, no vista en los siervos de Dios en la Biblia, de que cuando caa en las garras del pecado, se acercaba a Dios ---no hua de Su presencia como lo hizo el profeta Jons y otros personajes en la Biblia.
