Aryeh Lightstone, former Senior Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Israel and Special Envoy for the Abraham Accords, is uniquely poised to unravel the past, present, and, most importantly, the future of U.S. foreign policy with the Middle East. "A powerful affirmation of humanity’s capacity to achieve the extraordinary." —Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor to the President, 2017-2021 "Aryeh demonstrates that faithful adherence to one’s core beliefs—in both his faith and his nation—are not only possible but necessary. Read and enjoy." —Mike Pompeo, U.S. Secretary of State, 2018-2021 The Trump Administration's "Peace to Prosperity" vision for the Middle East was unveiled on January 28, 2020. What followed over the next eleven months, concluding with the signing of the Israel-Morocco normalization agreement was one of the most fascinating and consequential periods of U.S. foreign policy in a generation, leading to five normalization agreements between Israel and Muslim states. The Abraham Accords achieved what had seemed impossible for decades and set the Middle East on a trajectory toward a broad regional peace. Aryeh Lightstone is uniquely positioned to tell the story. As the senior advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, he was in the room for nearly every major discussion and decision involving Middle East policy. He was tasked with the most complex and sensitive component of the Abraham Accords: turning them into practical action and doing it quickly—during a pandemic, no less. In addition, he led the Abraham Accords Business Summit and the Abraham Fund, and served as the key contact between Israel and the other Accords nations. Let My People Know provides a behind-the-scenes account of the strategies that allowed the Abraham Accords to be struck, and an unvarnished look at the region's idiosyncrasies that factored into the process. A rabbi and an enthralling storyteller, Lightstone paints a vivid picture of the varied cultures and personalities involved. He also offers a glimpse into the day-to-day activities of an embassy. Finally, he explains what the Biden administration must do better to advance America's interests abroad. We now have a paradigm for a forward-looking Middle East policy that ultimately benefits the United States. Lightstone makes the case for strategic action to maintain the momentum.

The judgment scene in Matthew 25 is a call for believers in Jesus Christ to get out of our clubhouses and onto the streets, where the “least of these my brothers” (v.40) may be found. Let My People Go is a twelve-step invitation to our American church culture to examine what we are supposed to be doing as Christians, what we are doing, and whether what we are doing is standing in the way of what we are supposed to be doing. The man who deeply affected author Stan Moody as a Christian was a brilliant, sixty-four-year-old convicted sex offender by the name of Sheldon Weinstein. On April 24, 2009, Shelly died in solitary confinement at Maine State Prison of a ruptured spleen about an hour after Moody requested toilet paper for him. Moody has chronicled his death in a narrative titled “Death in B117.” With America now boasting 25 percent of the world’s prisoners, the last vestige of hope for these discarded citizens in our jails and prisons and on our streets is a faith community now facing declining membership and shrinking revenues. Poverty and homelessness has at last come home; how we respond to it is a reflection of the seriousness of our faith.

Let My People Go! is a prophetic call to the Church, to believe and walk in the same Gospel that the first disciples believed and demonstrated in their daily lives. We know that the New Testament is not written in classical Greek form. It is, however, Hebrew in its thought pattern and sentence structures. This should be anticipated, as the writers were predominantly born-again, Spirit-filled, tongue-talking Hebrew Christians. The Message that they passed on to us must be interpreted from this perspective in order to arrive at the truths they intended to convey to us. A failure to interpret and receive their writings from their perspective results in a twisting of the scriptures and a skewed, distorted picture of the Gospel Message. In delivering the message of the Gospel, we as believers and ministers are called by God to "carry the mail." As the mailmen of God, we have no right to change in any way the content of the Message we carry. When we do this, we find that there are a small number of Greek words upon which their Gospel Message is built. These words become the threads of revelation, that when woven together, reveal the true picture of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With the exception of the apostle Paul, most of the New Testament writers were not scholars, but blue-collar workers; fishermen, tax collectors, etc. People like us. If it was not too deep for them to write, it is not too deep for us to understand. After all, Jesus Promised that the same Holy Spirit who inspired those men would "guide you into all the truth" (John 16:13). The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not difficult to understand but it takes courage and trust to receive it and live it as it was originally given. In the end, the picture of our lives must demonstrate the same Gospel as the lives of the first disciples. If not, we are in error and in need of change.
