This book was written in good faith. The hope for humanity is the spirit of poetry with revelation of wisdom in truth. The vision of truth is the moral wisdom of life’s existence. The footsteps of our journey walk us toward wisdom to take us deep into the world. Let There Be Wisdom In Truth is to honor all who have lost their lives to the COVID-19 pandemic. We live in the most uncertain of times. These poems speak for the nameless voices taken away from us, to be forever silenced by their unfortunate fate. The art of healing is the soul of wisdom. Let There Be Wisdom In Truth is our moral consciousness which binds us to humanity. The wisdom of poetry is the fragrance of love. Poetry is the light that burns in our soul to liberate us from our caged existence. My first book, Let There Be Light in Darkness opens our eyes to the great truth of Sufi poetry. The second book, Let There Be Wisdom In Truth, opens the mind to seek and search for meaning and purpose in our existence. The doors to wisdom are opened and truth enters as our most welcomed guest.

If we wish to walk in God’s victory, blessing, love, hope and glory, we need to walk in His Wisdom and in His Will. Regarding His Will, there is no greater testimony of our desire to follow Him as His children than by the prayer of asking the Lord that His will be done and not ours. And that “will” in the Greek language speaks of desire, purpose and intent. Therefore, Jesus instructs us to pray that the will of the heavenly Father - that same Sovereign Lord of Isaiah 61 – be done, and we are to seek, pursue and desire that God’s purpose, desire, intent and desire for us all in this world be done, and not our own. Regarding His Wisdom, we live in a time where man’s wisdom prevails, to such an extent that the world has now determined what is good, what is real and what truth is. Where the truth and wisdom of man prevail at the expense of God’s wisdom, then corruption of mind and spirit follows. We live in a time where often people have turned what was once evil into good. This is why it says in the Scriptures to seek wisdom for it begins with the fear of the Lord, for wisdom is to know what is good and what is evil and to know good from evil. And once we know what is right and wrong, we need to follow such a path. That is wisdom. The wisdom to know the way, the will, the path and the truth of God.

Laughter is the light that seeps into the darkest moment of our lives. It is the only wisdom that brings us closer to our human nature. The sole purpose in writing poetry is to awaken the conscious mind and to let the human spirit live in the wholeness of reality. As a physician, I have used poetry to heal the ailing soul by using a holistic and integrative approach to medicine. Words have the power to move the masses and change perception of reality so that humanity can strive toward greater good. Truth can only be known once we shed light into darkness and come out of our shadowy existence fully formed. Let There Be Light In Darkness is my way of looking deep into life’s finite existence and walking toward my end with every moment of my beginning.
