Critical spatial approaches — particularly those informed by the scholarship of Lefebvre, Foucault, and Soja — have significantly impacted biblical scholarship over the last twenty years. However, these spatial approaches have been limited due to the methodological challenges inherent in transposing the social-scientific approaches of the aforementioned scholars to the task of biblical interpretation. This volume adapts conceptual metaphor theory as a methodological bridge to address such constraints. The first half of the volume begins by surveying the field of critical spatiality in biblical studies, arguing for the need for fresh methodological development. Thereafter, the volume delineates a particular critical spatial approach, inspired by Lefebvre and Foucault, for which conceptual metaphor theory is proposed as a methodological bridge. The second half of the volume begins by proposing the Psalms of Ascents as a case study upon which the method could be applied. It is then argued that the proposed method – if efficacious – should provide insight on corpus' "Zion theology" and its so-called pilgrimage character. Using the proposed method in conjunction with conventional historical-grammatical tools of poetic analysis, each psalm is analysed with regard to its metaphor and spatiality. The volume concludes that the case study demonstrates the efficacy of the proposed methods by allowing a rich reading of each psalm, especially by explicating the spatial narratives and/or spatial metaphorical conceptualisations that underlie each text, and providing fresh insight on the collection as a whole.

Prophetess Debra J. Yarbrough was prophesized to by her former Pastor that God was preparing her for translation. So there present in her Church were many eyewitnesses, when sudden death came She Departed Earth and Translated Home. It was revealed to Debra that she was not to fear death. There she was soul flying being escorted by two Angelic Angels, Michael and Gabriel. Michael the Arch Angel spoke fiercely fear not for we have been sent from the presence of God to escort you safely into heavenly frontiers There prophetess, Debra, was dropped-off on Top of Mount Zion where she stood in the brightest of light, that shone out from the figurative inanimate holy Lamb. Why! She was saturated with liquid love pouring out of her very being. As they continued in joint venture strolling down into the grassy green meadows where she discovered paradisiacal sightings of splendor, and beauty, beyond any sense of an imagination. There she spent forty minutes observing many profound mysteries finally being unveiled. Then afterwards the guided tour finished. The holy lamb flew her swiftly away into the vast realms of the Universe And there she was shown a worldwide ministry and a greater ingathering of harvest. Finally her departure came, flying back to the holy Mount. Surprisingly! The holy Lamb said, Debra you must go back to earth. Then tears began falling from her eyelids like heavy rain drops. Her heart filled with disparity. The lambs passion quickly comforted. My daughter you are given to know the mysteries of the kingdom. Therefore, the things that you have seen and heard write in a book. Tell my people that I love them and I have not forgotten them days without numbers. When you see all these events began culminating LOOK UP! My dissension is drawing near. My daughter, the greater cloud of witness have been waiting with great anticipation for this phenomenal event to finally take precedence. I am coming back for my Bride who has adorned herself in fine white linen unlike the spotted polka dots. But garments that have remained unspotted from this present day World. Halleluiah! Selah, ponder on these occurring events of time and be ready for soul shifting. Therefore, prepare for your heavenly father has kept it a guarded secret he only knows the hour of his Son Yahushuas return.

The Bible encourages believers to love God with all their hearts. Interestingly enough, there is no command to “like” God. Is the admonition to “like” God conspicuously absent due to its inherent difficulty? If we are honest, we can safely affirm that there are unlikable realities about our world that critics allege reflect poorly on the perceived nature of God. However, there is a lack of awareness regarding alternative ways to understand such realities. Divine Frustrations is an attempt to bridge that gap by providing a balanced, engaging approach to revisiting the unpleasant aspects of God’s dealings with humanity. Drawing on decades of interactions with students, atheists, critics, inmates, and church members, as well as people from all walks of life, Moore offers reflections on both sides of the most common complaints leveled against God. Whether you are a believer or a skeptic, your approach to various topics will be challenged. If you are open to considering alternatives to what you believe, as well as new insights into your own views, read on.

A Bible student reference A New Testament prophecy of a falling away from truth into apostasy and lawlessness, in the final generation before Jesus Christ returns in glory, is being fulfilled now and is shortly to end. Yet Christianity has overwhelmingly moved so far from its first century roots that it could not even recognise this – or that Christ’s return is therefore now almost upon us! How and why this is the case is here explained thoroughly and logically with many examples directly from the word of God. In God’s saving plan for the world, everyone must in time make a free will choice to become part of the ‘Israel of God’ in order to access eternal life in the kingdom of God. The route to take is the “strait and narrow” way (Mat 7:13-14) that very few have so far found, and it involves the biblical new and old covenants which both apply to this Israel. Embark on this voyage only if you are willing to: be challenged about some basic Christian preconceptions, be a serious open-minded Bible student, and trust what the Bible teaches - but remember that time is short. “What the Bible has taught me I see as both vital and urgent for our eternal salvation; yet I know of no church or individual theologian who teaches what this book deals with in any substantive way” “Be prepared for major challenges to your understanding just as God has challenged me.” “In the epistles, Paul refers to two Israels whom he calls Israel after the flesh (I Cor 10:18) and the Israel of God (Gal 6:16); I focus mainly on the latter (but I also explain an unexpected but critically important connection between them)” “Dependent on the teaching, nearly all Christian denominations either teach nothing at all on it or almost the opposite of what Scripture repeatedly showed me. Looking back, I find this absolutely staggering!” “Very few [Christians] understand that the new covenant also only applies to Israel (as I will clearly show).” “I no longer believe that the NT [New Testament] can be fully understood without this extra Israel dimension” “Had I felt I could deliver this in a more light-hearted way I would have done so, but its implications are too awesome and fundamental to our eternal life prospects for that”
