What would you do if your child told you that he or she had something “very difficult” to tell you? How would you respond? Would you sit down and try to understand what your child was trying to communicate to you? Would you respond in anger, judgment, or irritation? Would you even give your child your full attention? And after listening to your child, would you attempt to ignore, dismiss, or even deny what your child was trying to tell you? These are important questions for all parents to ask—and answer—because it is vitally important that parents understand how to respond to the significant questions that our children present to us with care and consideration. This understanding is especially critical for parents who are faced with the additional—and unexpected—challenge of how to respond when what is so “very difficult” for their child to tell them is that he or she is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning their identity (LGBTQ). Given the strong societal stigma against the LGBTQ population, as well as the lack of education with respect to parenting skills, sexuality, gender, and identity development, many parents feel overwhelmed, ashamed, and isolated. As a result, despite coming out in increasing numbers, almost half of LGBTQ youth face an uncertain future due to parental and societal rejection. A Soul Has No Gender is the story of one mother’s inquiry into her experience of coming to accept the sexual and gender identities of her fraternal twins, who are lesbian and female-to-male transgender, and how the experience transformed not only her relationships with her children, but with herself as well.

Like a photo that captures a moment, I am sharing moments of my life that highlight and explain how love exists in every detail of your life. Love is glamorised, used, abused, and sold. Love is all you need and all you have. Understanding love makes your life unique. You are love. How love is handled creates the story. This insightful book will bring you understanding of love, sex, and relationships. Time runs fast so we end up living on empty. You have more control than you think if you stop what you are doing and observe. Life can run away with us. My life started out in my search for love and has taken me to where I am now. I didn’t stop when I found my self- love. I didn’t stop when I shared my love. I didn’t stop when I had everything that I needed in my life. I felt, what is the point in knowing all this knowledge if I don’t share it? This is why I took ten years out of my life to gather all this wisdom and write it over five books so that I could share it with you. I didn’t share it because I wanted to make money. I didn’t share it to be a celebrity. I shared it because I love you all and want you to have access to 100 percent of you.

"Not woman, not man, not the non-binary, no gender is able enough to sustain progress and harmony. To make sure that we grow and stand tall with dignity, all humans, no matter the gender, must rise together with humanity." Our beloved Champion of Humanitarianism Abhijit Naskar gives us an insightful literary composition, where he shows the possibility of a genuinely humane society beyond the aggressive, detrimental and conflicting paradigms of patriarchy and matriarchy. Naskar depicts in his bold and vivacious manner, that to build a truly just society with equal rights for every human, it is imperative that we rise as humans and not as women, men or anything else.

In the last twenty-five years, Americans have gained considerable freedom in thier personal lives. Relationships are now more flexible, and self-development has become a primary goal for both men and women. Most scholars have criticized this trend to greater freedom, arguing that it undermines family bonds and promotes selfishness and extreme independence, Francesca Cancian is more optimistic. In this book she shows that many American couples succeed in combining self-development with commitment, and that interdependence, not independence, is their ideal. In interdependent relationships, love and self-development do not conflict, but reinforce each other. Love in America compares 'traditional' forms of marriage with these newer forms of close relationships. Starting with the nineteenth century, Cancian shows how gender roles became polarized, with love, which was identified with emotional expression, no practical help, being the responsibility of women, while self-development was regarded as a masculine concern. These traditional images of love and relationships are still held by many Americans today, even though, as Cancian points out, this can lead to marital conflict and individual stress and illness. By contrast, new images of love, emphasizing self-development for men and women and flexible, androgynous roles, began to emerge around 1900, accelerating in the 1960s. She concludes that this trend to self-development and androgyny will continue, but that whether it will lead to more interdependent relationships, or to more independence and isolation, depends partly on economic and political changes in the wider society. The evidence for Cancian's argument comes from sociological, historical, and psychological sources. Her book will interest readers in these disciplines, as well s appeal to a wide general audience.
