Lyrical Iowa

The Lyrical Iowa 2022 anthology features 320 poems selected from close to two thousand contest entries submitted by poets (from kindergartners through to centenarians) from across the state of Iowa. Winners were selected in the Adult division contests, including the Lucille Morgan Wilson Award, Traditional Forms, Haiku, National/World Events, Humorous Verse, Poetry for Children and a new Ekphrastic Challenge. The student division winners were selected from entries for undergraduate college, high school, upper grades (5-8) and lower grades (K-4). Editors also include their five selections of nominees for the prestigious Pushcart Prize.

An anthology of 381 poems by Iowans of all ages, chosen from poems submitted to Iowa Poetry Association's annual contest. This 2019 edition is a perfect-bound book of 178 pages with a full-color cover.
