This is a book on Nigeria. I began this book with who I am and why I think I am qualified to speak on Nigeria – born towards the end of the Biafra war, I suffered. I lost my twin sister, Ogechi and am yet to recover from it. I have also lived most of my life in Nigeria across the six geopolitical zones. This book detailed my views and those of 100 respondents drawn from across the nation on what the issues (problems/challenges) are, the root causes, the perpetuating factors, the results and the viable solutions to the national problems. While what you already know as regards these – corruption, tribalism/ethnicity, poor/bad leadership and poor citizen participant topped the list of challenges; national restructuring, constitutional review and citizen engagement were cited as viable solutions. I also took the liberty to introduce the concept of a United Nations of Nigeria (UNON) – similar to the UAE algorithm. We need to take relevant steps to rebuild Nigeria. The time to start is now. First impressions seem to always get the better of us. Quick judgments about others, ourselves, and our communities never seem to cease making their presence known in our minds. Psychologically, these initial assumptions and impressions that our mind receives are tactics our mind uses as a means of survival, sometimes aligning with our intuition to help us determine what or who is going to be helpful or harmful. But we must be careful here. Our mind is equipped to handle countless sensations and thoughts, and due to this, we sometimes get so bogged down by this demanding, busy world that we take the easy way out and make a judgment based solely on superficial knowledge, without any deeper reflection or analysis. The world is fast-paced, and although our mind does well to keep up, it needs to be able to consciously recognize that our health, both individual and as human beings, is dependent on the strive to understand oneself and the other with empathy and compassion. COVID-19 has shed a new spotlight on the increasing mental health crisis that is facing our world, and I believe that one of the main causes is careless thinking that leads to quick assumptions, to save oneself the time of research and contemplation. Don’t let others think for you. Yes, respect those with the authority to offer professional opinions, but don’t be a follower, be a student and learn from every experience. When your health seems to suffer, don’t assume the worst. When someone comes at you the wrong way, don’t write them off as a heartless soul. When you have a tough interaction with someone representing another community, don’t assume that everyone else is like that. Instead, look for the best in yourself, others, and the community. There is the power behind the phrase “Love thy neighbor”. When we treat every person that we come across as our neighbor, we break down the prideful barriers that ABOUT DALLAS MCCLAIN Born in the USA, Dallas is a passionate reader of theological and personal development books. I think too often we, as biohackers focus more on the physical side of things, which is, of course, important but does not truly define what it means to be human. The human person is a compositum of both mind and body. Spiritual and Corporeal substance. When biohacking ourselves, let’s remember to start with the intention of acting out of love for thyself, of thy neighbor, and of thy community. There will always be disagreements between people, but when we see the other person as our neighbor, as another one of us, so to speak, we offer respect and extinguish any hatred and sinful intentions from the relationship, thus creating a peaceful, happier, and more vibrant environment to foster a healthy mind that’s prepared for whatever the onerous world throws at it.

Ideas rule the world. Who has ideas? How can I turn the ideas I have into projects, products, and profits? What happens to ideas when they are shared with the right or wrong persons? How can I use my ideas to become an entrepreneur? These and many more questions are what this book is ordained to address. There is no need to waste that unique and life changing idea. Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Boeing, etc. were all ideas in somebody’s’ mind. The cloth you wear, the shoe on your feet, the watch, house, cars, televisions, etc. were once mere ideas. But what happened? They were quickly turned into projects, products and today, the owners are smiling home with profits. You too can turn that idea into a project. While the first seven chapters of this book dissect ideas, the last six focused on entrepreneurship. This book will show you how you can turn your ideas into profitable businesses.
