I am writing about the mistakes I have made so that you may avoid them on your journey of faith. If you have made similar mistakes, I hope this book will help you realize that you are not alone. I pray you will be encouraged that you can overcome those mistakes, and they can be important moments of learning that you benefit from, as painful as they may be at that moment. Mostly, I hope that you will realize that Jesus Christ will forgive you of your mistakes. If you have made mistakes, if you have experienced despair because of them, and if you have grieved over them, I pray you will also find the peace and joy and the awe and wonder of Jesus Christ that you may not have experienced before—peace, joy, awe, and wonder that cannot be found anywhere else. If you have struggled, as I have, to live more faithfully, this book is for you. Our mistakes do not deprive us of God’s love, but often reveal his love for us. Often, they teach us that Jesus Christ is the remedy, the balm, the redemption of all the mistakes we have made. I pray you will discover that he is for you too.

Every day in America, four women are murdered by their spouses or intimate partners. This statistic does not change in the church. In fact, one reason many women remain in violent marriages is due to a narrow understanding of Scripture and of God's heart. For these women, Jennifer Faith has a word: it is not God's will for you to be abused. For over twenty years, Jennifer lived a secret life―a life of fear and shame―a daily existence marked by powerlessness and oppression. Yet God was always there, long before she was able to distinguish between his loving voice of truth and the lies that kept her captive. If she had not finally allowed Him to intervene, Jennifer would not likely be here today to tell her story and to give Jesus, her compassionate, pursuing Savior, all the glory. With honesty and humility, Jennifer recounts how she came to find herself in a violent marriage―the red flags she missed, the toxic thinking that made her a victim rather than a victor. With courage, she shares her journey from horror to wholeness. She provides resources to help women answer the questions that keep battered women stuck: Am I in an abusive relationship? What if it's my fault? Is it biblical to leave? And she offers hope that, just as God made a way for her to journey out of darkness into a life of light and freedom, he wants to do the same for others.

The word ‘journey’ is a common metaphor used to describe our time here on Earth. Everyone's journey of life is unique and it can change direction, at any time, for any reason, by our own choice or by conditions imposed upon us. This booklet is about one quite ordinary life journey – mine – a dominant feature of which is a journey to faith in God. I was brought up in India as a god-fearing Hindu mainly because of the influence my mother's religious practices had on me. But my life as a Hindu radically changed direction when I was confronted by the God of the Bible. I respectfully discuss my experiences both as a Hindu and as a Christian and present my reasons for the change of spiritual direction in my life. I hope you find this booklet an encouragement in your own journey of life.

This book is a journal made up of 111 articles that were published in our local paper. The woman who wrote the journal was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in December of 2006 and her goal was to help people understand what it was like living and coping with the disease on a daily basis. She wrote about her everyday life, her Chemo and Radiation treatments, her trip to Seattle for Cyber Knife treatment. She wanted people to know that it was possible to lead a somewhat normal life even though the prognosis wasnt good. She tried to give people an insight into thought process that a person with Lung Cancer goes through. The author bared her soul in these articles in order help others with cancer or who had loved ones with the disease. Ann Keefe was my wife, she passed away on April 15th 2009 and I had her Journey of Faith, Hope & Health published in her memory.

Death was sleeping all around us. I could feel her in the high cries of uncomfortable babies and the low moans of old men as they fight the pain and discomfort of dysentery. This would be a trip through hell, and perhaps some unfortunate souls on this boat would make not make it out alive as is often the case on the Congo River. Perhaps, we all knew that some of us wouldnt all arrive at our destination and that we would meet our Lord, our Maker, here on this black river of death and hope. Death and hope. Can it be one and the same? With this river, the answer is yes. People lived and died under the power of this powerful river every single day. It was now my turn to make this journey on its surface. Despite my deepest fears, I feel the warm breeze of Gods grace lingering around me in the air. Yes, hope is a powerful element in each of our hearts and that is what everyone here now clings onto tightly and with both fists, even if it means kissing death right on the lips.
