This book is meant to uncover the unknown secret of the true Mulan’s story: that she was not a Chinese person, but a representative of the semi-nomadic people called Tuoba/Tabgachi with its origin in the Great Eurasian Steppe. The author attempted to write this story as a historical reconstruction true to the original story as it was told in the Ballad of Mulan, and based on his scientific research.
