The Sumerians are today's wonder of the day and another incredible ancient society. Ancient Sumer, a group of city-states, was in Mesopotamia. The Sumerians invented arithmetic geometry, writing, and armies. Furthermore, their publications educate readers about Sumerian culture today. The Sumerian civilization flourished between 4100 and 1750 B.C. "Sumer" was named after the "land of cultured rulers." Sumer was one of the earliest to divide the day into hours and minutes. They also had a sophisticated religion centered on gods known as the Anunnaki. The Sumerians' destiny was thought to be in the hands of the Anunnaki. The Anunnaki were often depicted in myths as judging humankind. The gods were also known as the children of the Earth and the Sky. Most people regard these tales as myths, just like the Greek gods. Others, though, wonder whether there is more to the story. Some scientists think the Anunnaki were actual people. They might have come from another planet, according to popular belief. Many individuals believe they are from the enigmatic planet X, which they claim passed incredibly close to Earth thousands of years ago. Why would aliens come to Earth and behave like gods? Of course, to enslave humans! According to this theory, the Anunnaki compelled the Sumerians to dig for gold for them. The Anunnaki departed for Planet X after they had all they needed. According to some, the Anunnaki were a kind of reptile humanoid. They argue that these reptiles assisted the Sumerians in the development of their writing and mathematical systems. Furthermore, they believe that reptiles still exist and have influence over people. Were the Anunnaki genuine? Or have they fabricated gods? One thing is sure: these ancient Sumerian deities continue to attract humans.

Imagine earth being visited every 3600 years by an advanced culture so developed that we would be unable to comprehend. Reinforced with that the ones who occupied this rogue planet had awareness that without their intervention, earth would be destroyed. In this narrative, the ancient aliens provide earth with a protective deterrent. This strategy was effective for thousands of years while the rogue planet was separated by space, time and orbital proximity. However, before the next sequential encounter was to come about, the highly advanced planet would experience a catastrophic crisis. While earth continued to progress into its present day cycle, the story becomes focused on a group of people on a quest for ancient artifacts. One of the devises that had been constructed at the last occupation of the ancient aliens was discovered in a remote cave. More is quickly learned about these fabricated units as well as a shocking revelation that earth is on an unstoppable countdown toward its eminent obliteration. Even though the close proximity of the two planets produce tremendous shifts within the earth's mantle, a most unusual bond develops between the life forms of the older planet and the group of earth's mortals. Being the selected few people that would obtain the knowledge of preventing the earth's doom, they would soon be provided with an advantage from those of the superior culture.

No direct explanation is given for the origin and nature of the luminous bodies, the sun, the planets, and the stars. Because, as far back as our written sources go, the Sumerians regarded the moon-god, who went by the names Sin and Nanna, as the son of the air-god Enlil, it does not seem unreasonable to suggest that they saw the moon as a bright, air-like body fashioned from the atmosphere. As the sun-god Utu and the Venus goddess Inanna are always referred to in the texts as children of the moon-god, these luminous bodies were probably imagined as having come from the moon after the latter had been formed from the atmosphere. "The big ones walk around (the moon) like wild oxen," and "the little ones that are scattered around (the moon) like grain" are considered the rest of the planets and stars.
