Non Traditional Dynamics In Electronics Theory And Practice

The main theme of the proposed book is devoted to investigation of non-trivial problems of functioning of Ultra-High-Frequency (UHF) electronic devices and systems in the various type dynamic instability modes. Both flows and maps (representations) are considered because the relation between maps and flows was repeatedly discussed in different publications. On the contrary, all systems described in the offered book for the first time are considered from the point of view either internal structure, or the description and analysis.

This book presents methods to improve information security for protected communication. It combines and applies interdisciplinary scientific engineering concepts, including cryptography, chaos theory, nonlinear and singular optics, radio-electronics and self-changing artificial systems. It also introduces additional ways to improve information security using optical vortices as information carriers and self-controlled nonlinearity, with nonlinearity playing a key "evolving" role. The proposed solutions allow the universal phenomenon of deterministic chaos to be discussed in the context of information security problems on the basis of examples of both electronic and optical systems. Further, the book presents the vortex detector and communication systems and describes mathematical models of the chaos oscillator as a coder in the synchronous chaotic communication and appropriate decoders, demonstrating their efficiency both analytically and experimentally. Lastly it discusses the cryptologic features of analyzed systems and suggests a series of new structures for confident communication.

This book illuminates the development of electronic and computer music in East Asia, presented by authors from these countries and territories (China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan). The scholars bring forward the cultural complexities and conflicts involved in their diverse encounters with new music technology and modern aesthetics. How electronic music attracted the interest of composers from East Asia is quite varied – while composers and artists in Japan delved into new sounds and music techniques and fostered electronic music quite early on; political, sociological, and artistic conditions pre-empted the adoption of electronic music techniques in China until the last two decades of the twentieth century. Korean and Taiwanese perspectives contribute to this rare opportunity to re-examine, under a radically different set of cultural preconditions, the sweeping musical transformation that similarly consumed the West. Special light is shed on prominent composers, such as Sukhi Kang, Toshiro Mayuzumi, Toru Takemitsu, and Xiaofu Zhang. Recent trends and new directions which are observed in these countries are also addressed, and the volume shows how the modern fusion of music and technology is triangulated by a depth of culture and other social forces. For almost a decade the International Federation for Information Processing Working Group 8.5 (Information Systems in Public Administration), or IFIP WG 8.5, has organized the EGOV series of conferences, which has solidly - tablished itself as one of three core conferences in the research domain of e- Government, e-Governance, and e-Participation. Until last year, EGOV was hosted within the DEXA cluster of conferences. For the ?rst time in 2010, the IFIP WG 8.5 organized the conference on its own, which was also re?ected in the slight name change to IFIP EGOV 2010. Likeitspredecessors,theIFIPEGOV2010conferenceattractedscholarsfrom around the world as a venue of high reputation. In 2010, the conference brought together scholars and practitioners from four continents and 40 countries. Like in 2009, IFIP EGOV was co-located with ePart, the International C- ference on eParticipation. ePart aims at presenting advances in both social and technologicalscienti?c domains, seeking to demonstrate new concepts, methods, and styles of eParticipation. ePart is closely aligned with the IFIP EGOV c- ference. The chairs of both conferences maintain close links and are committed to co-locating the two events in the yearsto come, which intentionally allowsfor exchange and cross-fertilization between the two communities.

This book contains a collection of recent advanced contributions in the field of nonlinear dynamics and synchronization, including selected applications in the area of theoretical electrical engineering. The present book is divided into twenty-one chapters grouped in five parts. The first part focuses on theoretical issues related to chaos and synchronization and their potential applications in mechanics, transportation, communication and security. The second part handles dynamic systems modelling and simulation with special applications to real physical systems and phenomena. The development of multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICPMS) makes it possible to precisely measure non-traditional stable isotopes.
