America is dreadfully divided over politics, race, gender, and class. Unfortunately, the church isnt much better. Galatians 3:28 states, There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Paul gives us the kingdom paradigm for how Christians can be one without being the same. Serious learners and people intent on changing the status quo will find sound, biblical perspectives and real life examples to guide them. Readers will discover: How people of different races can come together, moving beyond superficiality Why women should be empowered to lead in the local church How Christians can be one without being the same politically What God says about wealthy and poor Christians empowering each other This book boldly addresses the topics Christians keep avoiding. But get ready. Gods Diverse Kingdom is coming on earth as it is in heaven!

Journalist Abigail Pogrebin is many things—wife, mother, New Yorker—but the one that has defined her most profoundly is “identical twin.” As children, she and her sister, Robin, were inseparable. But when Robin began to pull away as an adult, Abigail was left to wonder not only why, but also about the very nature of twinship. What does it mean to have a mirror image? How can you be unique when somebody shares your DNA? In One and the Same, Abigail sets off on a quest to understand how genetics shape us, crisscrossing the country to explore the varied relationships between twins, which range from passionate to bitterly resentful. She speaks to the experts and tries to answer the question parents ask most—is it better to encourage their separateness or closeness? And she paints a riveting portrait of twin life, yielding fascinating truths about how we become who we are.

I came up with the title One and the Same from the different experiences I have had with men and how every relationship had fewer differences and more similarities, whether it is good or bad, positive or negative. It represents my determination to express how in any relationship, the negativity, positivity, and spirituality between man and woman isn’t as different as people may think it is. The title contradicts the claims of how both genders are so different rather than looking at the facts that they are not different except for physical appearances. However, the way both genders want to be loved, how they have been hurt, how they have been treated, etc. is all the same and should not be treated as one being greater or more important than the other. This will be able to open the eyes of man and woman to see how their relationships can go further than what they think it can if they would stop thinking differently and start feeling, seeing, hearing, and tasting the similarities that can help their relationships go far because they are one and the same.

'Science has never had an advocate quite like David Deutsch ... A computational physicist on a par with his touchstones Alan Turing and Richard Feynman, and a philosopher in the line of his greatest hero, Karl Popper. His arguments are so clear that to read him is to experience the thrill of the highest level of discourse available on this planet and to understand it' Peter Forbes, Independent In our search for truth, how far have we advanced? This uniquely human quest for good explanations has driven amazing improvements in everything from scientific understanding and technology to politics, moral values and human welfare. But will progress end, either in catastrophe or completion - or will it continue infinitely? In this profound and seminal book, David Deutsch explores the furthest reaches of our current understanding, taking in the Infinity Hotel, supernovae and the nature of optimism, to instill in all of us a wonder at what we have achieved - and the fact that this is only the beginning of humanity's infinite possibility. 'This is Deutsch at his most ambitious, seeking to understand the implications of our scientific explanations of the world ... I enthusiastically recommend this rich, wide-ranging and elegantly written exposition of the unique insights of one of our most original intellectuals' Michael Berry, Times Higher Education Supplement 'Bold ... profound ... provocative and persuasive' Economist 'David Deutsch may well go down in history as one of the great scientists of our age' Scotsman
