Budi, a young orangutan in Borneo, Indonesia, tells the story of his rescue from rainforest destruction, his species' fight for survival, and what children can do to help save orangutans. Fifth graders at the P.S. 107 John W. Kimball Learning Center, an elementary school in Park Slope, Brooklyn, wrote and illustrated this inspiring story, the third in a series about endangered animals. The year-long project was a collaboration between the P.S. 107 Beast Relief committee, International Animal Rescue and the Arcus Foundation.
