From the inimitable Hunt/Brychta stable, stories specially written for children needing help to progress to Stage 4 include: the role reversals of a knight, a princess and a dragon; Dad in pursuit of his musical hobby much to Floppy's consternation; a community help project to improve the environment; a strange creature which turns up in the park; Mrs May in great distress (but don't worry, there's a happy ending); and Mum and Dad experiencing the ups and downs of shopping together. Eachbook consolidates words from Stage 3 Wrens, in patterned sentence constructions. Earlier ORT key words and other high frequency words are also used.

An entirely new product for each of the Oxford Reading Tree stories from Stages 1 -9. Sturdy and hardwearing, Oxford Reading Tree Take-Home Cards are available in packs of six, and contain one Card for each title in the corresponding pack of six pupils' books. Each Take-Home card helps parents or carers to get the most out of reading with their child. There are suggestions for games and activities to play and ideas for further activities share, each linked to whichever of the Oxford Reading Tree books the child takes home.
