God’s code of conduct is as relevant and insistent today as it’s always been. The landscape of contemporary society reveals that we neither know nor care much about the Law of God. There is: A general lawlessness in the lives of professing Christians. An absence of the fear of God in public worship and private living. A growing confidence in ourselves and doubt concerning God and His Word. Amidst this moral crisis, the message of the Ten Commandments can give us order, direction, and hope. With dynamic implications for how each of us lives every day, Pathway to Freedom will challenge you to think long and hard about the significance of God’s Law. “We have entered into a time of moral crisis in our culture and in the church as well. Stories about divorce, adultery, and the individualized picking and choosing of doctrines abound. Pathway to Freedom is forthright and necessary teaching that today’s church cannot afford to ignore. How now shall we live? The beginning of the answer must be in obedience to God’s moral law summarized in the Ten Commandments.” —CHARLES COLSON, PRISON FELLOWSHIP MINISTRIES, WASHINGTON, D.C.

The first Gentile who accepted Jesus in Antioch of Syria became a problem for the young church. The mother church in Jerusalem was not equipped to handle a non-Jew, either doctrinally or emotionally, yet everything was changing! Barnabas had no trouble adjusting to the new circumstances, but the leaders in Jerusalem could never fully accept the differences of the New Covenant. Gentiles were forced to face the question, "Must I become a Jew in order to be saved?" This became a controversy which troubled Paul's entire ministry. The advocates who stirred it up were called "Some men who came from James." We will see how Paul responded to the question, "How Jewish must the Church be?" Peter, Barnabas, James (the brother of Jesus), and Paul will be seen like never before. T. DEERING MANNING was ordained to the ministry in 1951. He holds the Bachelor's degree from Atlanta Christian College; and Master's degree from ZOE University. He also has received honorary doctorates in Christian Education, Literature, and Philosophy in Theology. He has served churches in Illinois, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. He currently serves as Associate Pastor of Morningstar Family Church, U.S. representative for Revival of East Slavic Land, and Bible Professor at North Florida Theological Seminary. He is married to Beverly Anne Meares of South Carolina, and they have lived in Florida for more than thirty five years. Other writings include EYE WITNESSES OF HIS MAJESTY (Xulon Press), NOT BY MIGHT NOR POWER (history of Victory Christian Center), and BIBLICAL DISCIPLESHIP (a study of Biblical Leadership).

Gloria Kelsey has experienced several traumatic events in her life, including a near-death experience at birth, an abusive and toxic marriage, and the death of her two children. Walking through the chapters of her life, you will discover how unresolved trauma built strongholds of insecurity, fear, and rejection within her soul. Agreeing with an oath of secrecy, and suppressing negative emotions, caused physical and psychological distress; blocking the healthy flow of energy within her body and creating an environment for disease to exist and develop. As Gloria travelled the healing path, she learned that many diseases originate from traumatic situations and that emotional memories from painful events were stored in her brain, and at the cellular level of her body, along with the anger, grief, and stress associated with those events. Living in a toxic marriage caused Gloria to come into agreement with a casualty covenant that brought reality into being; negating God’s Word and impeding her body’s ability to heal. As she allowed the Lord to navigate her through the healing process by dealing with the roots, fruit and effects of emotional and psychological trauma, the ticking bomb of unprocessed trauma was diffused. The Lord brought healing to her spirit, soul and body; giving her the freedom to cross over ‘Jordan’ and come into her divinely appointed destiny!

Only when the public, through accurate knowledge, becomes more actively involved in our government, will the great nation of the United States prevail. In Pathway to Freedom, author J. Monroe presents an easy-to-understand guidebook that provides the necessary information to better comprehend and interpret the basics of the government and how it functions. Pathway to Freedom provides insight into the fundamentals of the US government, basic study-to-understand tips on the Constitution, stigmas of both elected officials and of the citizenry, and the foundations of the Fourteenth Amendment, the Declaration of Independence, and the Articles of Confederation. From a layman's perspective, Monroe explains how a formula of mindset, education, time, and reading can assist in better appreciating and knowing the government and its critical documents. From outright violations of the Constitution to maligned beliefs, Pathway to Freedom discusses the methodology by which democracy and freedom are to be preserved.

This is a compassion and discipleship program that encourages us on our individual journey of change, our letting go of chains that bind, those habits, hurts and shortcomings that hold us back from experiencing true freedom and joy in Christ Jesus. Many of us are wounded people who need healing from anger, resentment, unforgiveness, unresolved grief, shame, guilt or sadness. In this 13-week program we are guided and enabled, using God's Word, prayer, weekly lessons, small gender-specific group discussions, and the work of the Holy Spirit in "putting off the old self and putting on the new" (Ephesians 4:22-24 paraphrased).
