This is an open access book.Related to the big theme of the SDGs reinforcement at our previous conference, we try to invite all academics and researchers around the world to participate in the 4th Borobudur International Symposium 2022 (4thBIS 2022). As we know, the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on all the 17 SDGs have demonstrated how what began as a health catastrophe swiftly transformed into a human, socioeconomic and environmental crisis. The 4th BIS brought up “The Innovation Chain: A Contribution to Society and Industry” as the main theme to respond this condition. This conference is expected to support the UN Agenda. Additionally, this conference will also provide avenues for participants to exchange ideas and network with each other as well as domain experts from their fields. Overall, this event is aimed at professionals across all spheres of technology and engineering including the experienced, inexperienced, and students as well. The conference will be held virtually on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.

In September 2019, the UN Secretary-General urged all sectors of society to mobilize for a decade of action on three fronts: global action to ensure increased leadership, increased resources, and smarter solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals; local action to embed the necessary transitions into governments’ policies, budgets, institutions, and regulatory frameworks; and international action to ensure greater leadership, increased resources, and smarter solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals. Especially in 3rd BIS 2021, we brought up “Decade of Action towards Environmental Issues: Advancing the Innovation to Recover our Planet” as main theme. The conference will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. This is an ethnography of Dobu, a Massim society of Papua New Guinea, which has been renowned in social anthropology since Reo Fortune's Sorcerers of Dobu (1932). Focusing on exchange and its underlying ethics, this book explores the concept of the person in the Dobu world view. The book examines major aspects of exchange such as labor, mutual support, apologetic gifts, revenge and punishment, kula exchange, and mortuary gifts. It discusses in detail the characteristics of small gifts (such as betel nuts), big gifts (kula valuables, pigs, and large yams) and money as they appear in exchange contexts. The ethnography begins with an analysis of the construct of the Dobu person, and sets out to examine everyday practices and values. The belief system (incorporating witches, sorcerers, and a Christian God) is shown to have a powerful influence on individual conduct due to its panoptic character. The institutions that link Dobu with the outside world are examined in terms of the ideology concerning money: the Church receives offerings for God; the difficulties faced by trade-store owners evince conflicting notions concerning monetary wealth. The last two chapters delve into lived experience in two major domains of Dobu exchange: kula and the sagali feast.

This report presents proposed standards for teaching internship programs. The internship standards are intended to be embedded in a state's teacher licensing system. The year-long (paid) internship is simultaneously the last year of formal teacher preparation, the first year of (supervised) teaching, and one requirement for the unrestricted teaching license. An intern would have to satisfactorily complete the internship before taking the final examination to receive a teaching license. The report is intended to provide guidance to teaching standards boards as well as colleges of education, school districts, and others concerned with improving the practical preparation of teachers. The discussion is presented in four sections: (1) "The Case for a Supervised Teaching Internship"; (2) "Internships in the Licensed Professions"; (3) "Standards for an Internship Program"; and (4) "Implementing the Internship: The Value of Clinical Schools." The appendices provide examples of evaluation forms; an extract from "Minnesota's Vision for Teacher Education: Stronger Standards, New Partnerships"; the Code of Ethics for Minnesota Teachers; and detailed descriptions of internship programs in four licensed professions--engineering, psychology, architecture, and medicine. Constructing test items for standardized tests of achievement, ability, and aptitude is a task of enormous importance. The interpretability of a test's scores flows directly from the quality of its items and exercises. Concomitant with score interpretability is the notion that including only carefully crafted items on a test is the primary method by which the skilled test developer reduces unwanted error variance, or errors of measurement, and thereby increases a test score's reliability. The aim of this entire book is to increase the test constructor's awareness of this source of measurement error, and then to describe methods for identifying and minimizing it during item construction and later review. Persons involved in assessment are keenly aware of the increased attention given to alternative formats for test items in recent years. Yet, in many writers' zeal to be `curriculum-relevant' or `authentic' or `realistic', the items are often developed seemingly without conscious thought to the interpretations that may be garnered from them. This book argues that the format for such alternative items and exercises also requires rigor in their construction and even offers some solutions, as one chapter is devoted to these alternative formats. This book addresses major issues in constructing test items by focusing on four ideas. First, it describes the characteristics and functions of test items. A second feature of this book is the presentation of editorial guidelines for writing test items in all of the commonly used item formats, including constructed-response formats and performance tests. A third aspect of this book is the presentation of methods for determining the quality of test items. Finally, this book presents a compendium of important issues about test items, including procedures for ordering items in a test, ethical and legal concerns over using copyrighted test items, item scoring schemes, computer-generated items and more.
