Only God can satisfy the hungry soul. In this five-session video Bible study, Will Graham, the grandson of renowned preacher Billy Graham, shares stories and teachings from his life about what it means to be redeemed in Christ. As Will has traveled the globe, he has observed that deep inside each of our souls, we are all hungering for something. Some of us try to satisfy that need by throwing ourselves into relationships, jobs, or hobbies. Some try to fill the hunger by engaging in destructive vices. Others pursue good deeds, social work, or donating money to worthy causes. But as the psalmist writes, only God “satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness” (Psalm 107:9 NKJV). As we experience this redemption and walk in God’s ways, He leads us to a new understanding of His love, helps us to let go of our past, gives us a new heart and outlook on our trials, and opens our eyes to see the eternal needs of those around us. The Redeemed Study Guide includes video teaching notes, discussion questions, Bible exploration, and weekly personal study and reflection materials. Sessions include: A New Understanding of God’s Love A New Sense of Freedom from the Past A New Heart and Purpose A New Outlook on Difficulties A New Longing to Share Christ Designed for use with the Redeemed Video Study (9780310099796) sold separately. Digital and streaming video also available.

God does not intend for us to fight our battles alone. Our battles do not disqualify us from his grace—no matter what they are. The two CORE for Men studies—Redeemed and Transformed—each feature five raw and real video stories (DVD/video streaming sold separately) of men who have fought with feelings of isolation and disqualification. Through these personal stories of brokenness and redemption, you and your group will be encouraged to step out of shame and into your own God-shaped stories. Sessions and Contributors include: Called (Mariano Rivera, pitcher for New York Yankees) Redemption (Kyle Oxford, tattoo artist) Sons (Tommy Green, lead singer for the metal/hardcore band Sleeping Giant) Restoration (Robert Irving III, music director for Miles Davis) Purpose (Tom Paterson, master strategic thinker) Brought to you by the men behind the organization Promise Keepers, the passion behind the CORE for Men studies is to create spaces where men have permission to be real—where men discover they are not alone with the kind of doubts and fears they face everyday. CORE is a biblical expression of solidarity that will lead you back to a God who's in the business of turning brokenness into forgiveness and pain into a new and fulfilling purpose. John Goodwin (1593-1665), the eminent Puritan Arminian divine, was a man ahead of his time who lived in a turbulent era in which many principals, both theological and governmental, were subjects of controversy. This new edition of Redemption Redeemed (originally published in 1651), provides a major refutation of the Calvinistic limited atonement doctrine. Goodwin has written an adversarial treatise in which he, step by step, examines the overwhelming scriptural and theological evidence supporting the idea that Christ died for all mankind. He also refutes the opposing arguments of his day and argues that God, through his grace, provides the opportunity for all people to be saved. The Methodist Quarterly Review noted: “Had Redemption Redeemed been his only publication, it should have been enough in itself to perpetuate his (Goodwin's) fame. Its great learning, clear reasoning, sound judgment, and admirable spirit, render it worthy of the study of the lovers of this glorious doctrine, and the name of its author is one which all Arminians should delight to honor. A volume so ably written, and going to the bottom of the controversy, could not in that polemical age fail to create a storm.” In the contemporary period, as Christians enter the 21st Century and Calvinism with its disturbing implications is making a resurgence, Goodwin's masterful work is a welcome and much needed contribution to those seeking to understand the truths of God's word.
