Report To Congress On Voting Practices In The United Nations

Report to Congress Submitted Pursuant to Public Laws 101-246 and 108-447, March 31, 2005. Assesses the voting practices of the governments of UN member states in the General Assembly and Security Council for 2004. Evaluates the actions and responsiveness of those governments to United States policy on issues of special importance to the United States.

This report assess the voting practices of the governments of United Nations (UN) member states in the General Assembly & Security Council for 2004, & evaluates the actions & responsiveness of those governments to U.S. policy on issues of special importance to the U.S. The Dept. of State has sent a copy of this report to each U.S. diplomatic mission abroad so that they will be fully informed about the extent to which the government to which they are accredited supports U.S. priorities at the UN.
