The first edition contained discussions of theory, together with a review of the human body, part by part, with indications for Osteopathic examination and treatment of the same. A limited number of cases has been thus treated, the idea being not to make this volume a Practice of Osteopathy, but to show the method employed in diagnosis and treatment of the several different classes of cases that the Osteopath meets in daily practice.
