Service Oriented Computing Icsoc 2006

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing, ICSOC 2006, held in Chicago, IL, USA, December 2006. Coverage in this volume includes service mediation, grid services and scheduling, mobile and P2P services, adaptive services, data intensive services, XML processing, service modeling, service assembly, experience with deployed SOA, and early adoption of SOA technology.

This book constitutes the workshops of the 4th International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing, ICSOC 2006, held in Chicago, IL, USA. The two workshops presented were carefully reviewed and selected from six submissions. Both ICSOC'06 workshops were held as one-day-workshops the day before the major conference program of ICSOC'06 started. This volume contains separate descriptions of both workshops as well as all high-quality paper contributions to these two workshops.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing, ICSOC 2007. The 30 revised full papers and 14 short papers are organized in topical sections on service deployment, business process design, service discovery, quality of service support, testing and validation, service assembly, service properties, service modeling, SOA composition/experience/runtime/governance and QoS and composite service support.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed papers presented at five international workshops held in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing, ICSOC 2008, in Sydney, Australia, in December 2008. The 32 revised full papers and 20 short papers of the research track presented together with 6 industrial papers, 6 demonstration papers of the industrial track, and the abstracts of 4 keynote lectures were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 184 submissions. The papers present original research in the field of service oriented computing, from theoretical and foundational results to empirical evaluations as well as practical and industrial experiences. Topics addressed include services foundations, business service modelling, integrating systems of systems using services, service engineering, service assembly, service management, SOA runtime, quality of service, service applications (grid, e-science, government, etc.), as well as business and economical aspects of services.

This book constitutes the joint post-proceedings of four topical workshops held as satellite meetings of the 8th International Conference on service-oriented computing, ICSOC 2010, held in San Francisco, CA, USA in December 2010.
