This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 4th and 5th International Congress on Sports Science Research and Technology Support, icSPORT 2016 and 2017, held respectively in Porto, Portugal, on November 7-9, 2016 and in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, on October 30-31, 2017. The 13 revised full papers (7 papers in 2016 and 6 papers in 2017) along with 1 short paper presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 93 submissions (53 in 2016 and 40 in 2017). The papers cover the following topics: signal processing and motor behavior; neuromuscular physiology; sports medicine and support technology; physiotherapy and rehabilitation; health, sports performance and support technology; applied physiology and exercise; computer systems in sports; computer supported training and decision support systems.

This book contains extended and revised versions of selected papers from the Third International Congress on Sports Science Research and Technology Support, icSPORTS 2015, held in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2015. The 9 thoroughly revised and extended papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from originally 93 submissions. This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the First International Congress on Sports Science Research and Technology Support, icSPORTS 2013, Held in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal, in September 2013. The 7 full papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 90 submissions. The papers highlight the benefits of kinds of technologies for sports, either in general, or regarding particular cases of application.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 27th International Conference on Case-Based Reasoning Research and Development, ICCBR 2019, held in Otzenhausen, Germany, in September 2019. The 26 full papers presented in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 43 submissions. 15 were selected for oral presentation and 11 for poster presentation. The theme of ICCBR 2019, "Explainable AI (XAI)," was highlighted by several activities. These papers, which are included in the proceedings, address many themes related to the theory and application of case-based reasoning and its future direction.

Sports are very important and help people increase mobility, optimize performance, and reduce their risk of disease. Sporting activities can have beneficial social, cultural, economic, and psychological effects on health, wellbeing, and the environment. As such, this book discusses a range of principles, methods, techniques, and tools to provide the reader with a clear knowledge of variables improving sports’ performance processes. Over three sections, chapters consider physical, mechanical, physiological, psychological, and biomechanical aspects of sports performance, sports science, human posture, and musculoskeletal disorders.

We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Sports, Health, and Physical Education (ISMINA 2021) with the theme “Transformation on Sports, Health and Physical Education Facing the Global Pandemic”. This conference has brought researchers, educators and practitioners around the world. The 5th ISMINA 2021 Proceedings contains 75 articles. Consisting of 35 sports-themed articles, 25 health-themed articles, and 15 physical education-themed articles. The 5th ISMINA 2021 collaborates with ICSSPE, APPORI and several leading Indonesian universities in the fields of physical education, sports, and health education. The 5th ISMINA 2021 aims to gather all knowledge and transformation to face the global pandemic in the fields of physical education, health, and sports.
