The book ‘Rhetoric & Prosody, a handbook of Figures of Speech, rhymes, feet of poetic lines for High School Students’ is purely designed for high school students. The book includes chapters covering Rhetoric, the seven class of Figures of Speech which are termed often as ornamentation of our daily speech or the speech of a leader, writer, etc., to impress their customers, audience or listeners; and in the section of Prosody (the Grammar of Verse), the book includes rhyme, meter, foot of a poetic line, etc.

The book includes the chapters of – subject verb agreement and how to analyze simple, compound and complex sentences; first as subject, predicate, and then detail study of subject adjuncts and extension or adverbial adjuncts (in case of simple sentence); and there are more about compound and complex. Synthesis or joining and split-up are two other important chapters, illustrated in details. Besides, narration change of different sentences, conversion of sentences (about thirty-two types)— have been included in the book.
