This story begins in the little Canadian backwoods village of Bearsville. A blessed event occurs, when a polar bear cub, Baby Bum, is born to the 'Bear Family' on Christmas Day. Happiness abounds, but tragedy strikes a blow when his beloved father, Gruff, dies in the dreadful jaws of a bear trap. Mother Bear cannot mend his broken heart and is inspired to adopt a red-eyed cub (Carey Bear) to share his unbearable grief. Bonding as friends and brothers, they dream of grand adventures in faraway lands. Daring their dreams, our young heroes venture into strange places and meet new friends and scary foes. Entering the frozen realm of an awesome wicked wizard, (Blitzzard), they battle for their lives in a humongous blizzard. Hopelessly lost, they wish upon a star and are rescued by a Magic Rainbow Goddess, (Iris). Entering a forbidding Forest, (Bearswoods), they encounter a knightly hood, 'Sir Robbin Bear'. Trading heroic tales, Robbin honors them in a forest feast. Chased by a fierce raptor, 'Talons the Golden Eagle', the heroic brothers, dashing to Mother Bear, return to honor and glory in a grand celebration and triumphant presentation. The story ends with the joy and wonder of Christmas. 'The Adventures of Bum and Carey Bear' will surely delight the hearts and imaginations of children around the world. It is wonderful and inspiring reading for the entire family.

BAREBUM BILLY is about a little boy who loves to strip off and run around nude in the most inappropriate of places - his snooty neighbours' manicured lawn, the supermarket, an art museum, the zoo, a golfing green, and even his local church! Billy's neurotic toy robot is horrified. His poor parents are embarrassed. Meanwhile, all sorts of conservative folk are fuming mad. But one day Billy meets someone special who helps turn his skill for streaking stark naked into a wonderful career.Written (and directed) by Nicholas Snelling and illustrated by Glen Le Lievre, BAREBUM BILLY is a wild, satirical romp that brings to mind the likes of Roald Dahl, Julia Donaldson and Dr Suess, but with a few extra shots of red cordial. BAREBUM BILLY has everything a future classic kids' book should have - the catchy, rhyming verses; hilarious illustrations; a feel-good closing message; and a happily ever after. It's also 'snort-drink-out-your-nostrils' funny and absolutely irreverent. It really is one of those rare books that every adult will love to read to young kids, as much as every kid loves to have it read to them.

“The Adventures of Mimiko Cat,” is a comical romance about a waif that lives a comic book existence in a raving madcap world, a leftist saboteur journalist who keeps flying back and forth from Soho to Shanghai in search of love and the quintessential affair. As a devil-may-care feminist, she finds that the bitchy acumen within her fighting with her desire for “shallow men” and their misfit lingua franca, from the bedroom to the pillory. A spell-binding adventure about raw language, feminism, passion, and symbolic emotions in a meandering world of time, space and everything, this novel borders on hysteria, and lets you see the Asian American heart inside out.
