Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Two plays in verse form - both were produced on the stage.The Cup was produced at The Lyceum Theatre (on January 3, 1881) by Henry Irving, with both Ellen Terry and himself in the cast.The Falcon was produced at the St. Jamess Theatre, under the management of Messrs. Hare and Kendal, in December 1879.Tennyson was undoubtedly the greatest of the Victorian poets -- acclaimed in his own day as the chief poetic voice of his age, and he remains one of the most highly regarded masters of the music and mood of poetry.
