What child does not face some form of bullying? What child does not grapple with self-esteem or body image issues? These real life problems are the subject of this fantasy tale. Magic and meanness are combined to create a compelling story that will resonate with all students. Two children, brought to a magical place by their Elbow Fairies, stumble upon a magic mirror. But the fun quickly turns to misery when Abigail looks into the mirror. The brilliant illustrations of David Trumble draw the reader into the drama and highlight the positive message. Another in the genre of social-emotional picture books in The Enjella(R) Adventure Series.

Former Romper Room Teacher and Anchorwoman Sandra Hart has written her powerful memoir - a story of betrayal, murder and survival revolving around schizophrenia. A visually rich journey begins with the author's childhood in a gloomy Ohio Valley steel town and follows her through her early career on Romper Room and then her final investigation into the disappearance of her ex-husband. Surviving an early life-threatening illness, Sandra finally finds happiness in adulthood only to discover that her utopian life is a mirage. A confident personality in front of the camera, few knew that behind the scenes she was fearful of a stalker intent on destroying her. It is a searing story of a woman who leads a double life. Her public persona was that of a successful television personality, but her private life was one of personal pain and constant terror. "A compassionate kaleidoscope of events of a life as it is."- Janice Lieberman, NBC-TV. "A suspensful and compelling love story in which both the reader and author are spectators in an awesome discovery." - M. Cohen. Major credit cards accepted. Merlin and a group of his friends were at their middle school on the night of the Fall Festival. Ms. White, a long term substitute teacher, showed them a mirror and told them to look into a mirror and think about whatever they saw. The magical mirror gave the students a curse or blessing based on how they saw themselves in the mirror. Unfortunately, it was Halloween when they looked into the mirror and everyone was wearing costumes. If they saw themselves as shorter than their friends, they might start getting shorter each day. If they thought they looked strong, they grew stronger each day. Merlin was dressed as his hero, Merlin the Enchanter, and imagined that he could do magic as well. Unfortunately, a friend was not so lucky. He had to either help his friend and risk losing his powers or forget about her and keep the powers of the mirror. Unfortunately, he and his friends were not the only ones who looked at the mirror. Another group of students had also gained powers from the mirror. They felt no need to help the cursed friend and decided to stop Merlin and his friends from getting to the mirror. Will he risk losing his powers to help his friend? Can Merlin and his friends save the cursed friend or will they be stopped by the other students?
