The Night of Jack & Jill The idea of superheroes is very much alive and well in the Jara Era. Over the millennia the root of superpowers has changed and evolved, but the idea of those who are endowed with powers beyond those of mortal men of picking up the vigilant mantle has persisted. In this time however, technology being what it is, and big bang humans that evolved on different worlds, with different survival abilities make it a little more common. Lets take for instance Naya & her stepfather Wayne. Naya was born on the high gravity world of Torrey 9. Off her homeworld her strength was nothing short of incredible. Wayne was a genius nanite engineer. He had constructed a nanite muscle super suit that allowed him to stand toe to toe with the super powered being in the civil war one Deslar Now most of the time Wayne was a potato farmer and Naya was a middle school student with a very extensive comic book collection, as many based on fictional heroes as real. Sometimes there is the perfect storm of happenstance where too many comic books and too little motherly supervision result in a one off night of playing superhero. TOGETHER (and with the moms out of town) They are Power Jack & Jill 4 the Kill !

Naya and her stepfather, the only father she has ever known, have a secret. They play superheroes together. In the distant future, in the Jara Era, there are still superheroes, those sorts endowed with superpowers by homeworld of birth or technology in their possession. Naya and her stepdad Wayne are two such sorts. Naya by her very nature has incredible durability and strength hailing from the home world of Torrey 9, the highest gravity of any human inhabited planet in the confederacy. Her stepdad’s power is rooted in nature too. With his genius level nanite architecture skill he has actually created life. This same skill set allowed him to create nanite Jack Suit technology. In this skin of nearly indestructible muscle tissue he was a mere mortal man able to stand toe to toe with near gods in the Deslarian Civil War. Too many comic books and the lack of the mothers’ supervision prompted them to slip off into the city one night and have their hand at playing superhero. IT WAS A HOOT! Lives were saved. Evil was foiled and the day was saved, well the night actually (The Night of Jack & Jill). As fun as it was, the time that was had, Wayne was not doing ‘responsible dad’. To be a responsible upstanding pop, Wayne swore he would never be that reckless again. In part, because even as strong as Jill was, even stronger than him in his suit, her mother was even stronger.
