Growing—Experience the Dynamic Path to Transformation speaks to the truth about our transformed life in Christ. The truth about our transformed life in Christ defines who we are in this world and shows how we can know our purpose in life. Series copy An entire generation of young Christians—along with millions of older believers—is confused about what they believe, why they believe it, and how it's relevant. The Unshakable Truth Journey® Growth Guides are a series of 12 courses designed especially for churches, church classes, and small groups. They get to the heart of what being a true follower of Christ means and what knowing Christ is all about. Each five-session guide is based one of 12 core truths of the Christian faith presented in Josh and Sean McDowell's book The Unshakable Truth®. Orthodox, hard-hitting, and relevant, these guides uniquely positioned for today's culture because they highlight how Christianity's beliefs affect relationships; promote a relational, group context in which Christians can experience the teaching in depth; and show believers how they can live out Christianity's central truths before their community and world. More than just a program, The Unshakable Truth Journey® Growth Guides are a tool for long-term change and transformation!

An advanced treatment of modern macroeconomics, presented through a sequence of dynamic equilibrium models, with discussion of the implications for monetary and fiscal policy. This textbook offers an advanced treatment of modern macroeconomics, presented through a sequence of dynamic general equilibrium models based on intertemporal optimization on the part of economic agents. The book treats macroeconomics as applied and policy-oriented general equilibrium analysis, examining a number of models, each of which is suitable for investigating specific issues but may be unsuitable for others. After presenting a brief survey of the evolution of macroeconomics and the key facts about long-run economic growth and aggregate fluctuations, the book introduces the main elements of the intertemporal approach through a series of two-period competitive general equilibrium models—the simplest possible intertemporal models. This sets the stage for the remainder of the book, which presents models of economic growth, aggregate fluctuations, and monetary and fiscal policy. The text focuses on a full analysis of a limited number of key intertemporal models, which are stripped down to essentials so that students can focus on the dynamic properties of the models. Exercises encourage students to try their hands at solving versions of the dynamic models that define modern macroeconomics. Appendixes review the main mathematical techniques needed to analyze optimizing dynamic macroeconomic models. The book is suitable for advanced undergraduate and graduate students who have some knowledge of economic theory and mathematics for economists.

Population aging raises a number of issues regarding the optimality of public debt policy and the systems of public pension provisions that are in use in developed countries. The studies in this book address these questions using computable general equilibrium models. They give illuminating insights and new empirical estimates of future prospects of pay-as-you-go pension schemes in the "big seven" OECD countries, the possible distortions introduced by the pension systems in four large European economies, the effects of lifetime uncertainty in analyzing a potential reform of the Dutch pension system, effects of increasing international mobility of financial capital to pension policies, and public debt reduction policies in relation to possible adverse effects of taxation on wage formation and unemployment.

This book combines semi-physical simulation technology with an Internet of Things (IOT) application system based on novel mathematical methods such as the Fisher matrix, artificial neural networks, thermodynamic analysis, support vector machines, and image processing algorithms. The dynamic testing and semi-physical verification of the theory and application were conducted for typical IOT systems such as RFID systems, Internet of Vehicles systems, and two-dimensional barcode recognition systems. The findings presented are of great scientific significance and have wide application potential for solving bottlenecks in the development of RFID technology and IOT engineering. The book is a valuable resource for postgraduate students in fields such as computer science and technology, control science and engineering, and information science. Moreover, it is a useful reference resource for researchers in IOT and RFID-related industries, logistics practitioners, and system integrators.
