The original Extremely Unofficial and Highly Unauthorized Star Wars Kama Sutra came out just before Star Wars: The Force Awakens and has sold thousands of copies around the world. Now, here we are, two years later and it's time for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Like Lucas did with his special editions (but our changes are actually good), I wanted to take a moment to go through the original book and smooth out some rough edges, get rid of some jokes that didn't land, and add in a bunch of new positions, featuring toys from the Star Wars movies and TV shows that have come out since the first edition. The same warning applies from the original publication. This isn't a text book, it's a funny book. It's for grown-ups with a twisted sense of humor. Most importantly, it is a work of independent parody, made with love and reverence for all things Star Wars. Don't buy this for a child, buy it for your partner, spouse or friend. And remember, the internal temperature of a Taun Taun is still "Luke Warm." - May The Force Be With You.

This book was created for Star Wars fans with a slightly twisted sense of humor. It is a parody of the characters in the Star Wars universe and created with all the love in the world that I've got for them (yes, even Jar Jar). Within these pages, you'll find all your favorite Star Wars characters, represented by the action figures that I have purchased over the years, engaged in all manner of absurd sexual positions and situations. Don't try any of the positions in this book. Most of them are not physically achievable, and I've got no idea where you'd be able to find a Rancor, anyway. Don't buy this book for small children. That's just stupid. Buy it for your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, friend or parent. Buy it for anyone you know who loves Star Wars and knows that the internal temperature of a Taun Taun is always going to be "Luke Warm."May the Force be with you.

Tun-huang Popular Narratives presents authoritative translations of four vernacular Chinese stories, taken from fragmentary texts usually referred to as pien-wen or 'transformation texts'. Dating from the late T'ang (618-907) and Five Dynasties (907-959) periods, the texts were discovered early last century in a cave at Tun-huang, in Chinese Central Asia. However, written down in an early colloquial language by semi-literate individuals and posing formidable philological problems, the texts have not been studied critically before. Nevertheless they represent the only surviving primary evidence of a widespread and flourishing world of popular entertainment during these centuries. The tales deal with both religious (mostly Buddhist) and secular themes, and make exciting and vivid reading.

This book is devoted to a deceptively simple but original argument: that copying is an essential part of being human, that the ability to copy is worthy of celebration, and that, without recognizing how integral copying is to being human, we cannot understand ourselves or the world we live in. In spite of the laws, stigmas, and anxieties attached to it, the word “copying” permeates contemporary culture, shaping discourse on issues from hip hop to digitization to gender reassignment, and is particularly crucial in legal debates concerning intellectual property and copyright. Yet as a philosophical concept, copying remains poorly understood. Working comparatively across cultures and times, Marcus Boon undertakes an examination of what this word means—historically, culturally, philosophically—and why it fills us with fear and fascination. He argues that the dominant legal-political structures that define copying today obscure much broader processes of imitation that have constituted human communities for ages and continue to shape various subcultures today. Drawing on contemporary art, music and film, the history of aesthetics, critical theory, and Buddhist philosophy and practice, In Praise of Copying seeks to show how and why copying works, what the sources of its power are, and the political stakes of renegotiating the way we value copying in the age of globalization.
