Peter Daniel Franck was born in Germany in 1773. He married Maria Margaretha Katherine Stibitz and they were the parents of six children. Several of their children came to America after their deaths and settled in Iowa and Minnesota. Information on many of their descendants both in America and Germany is given in this volume. Descendants now live in Iowa, Minnesota, California, Illinois, and elsewhere.
