This book is a personal journey through the lives of three generations of the authors family, told in great detail. It begins with her grandparents; Edgil and Minnie "Griffith" Wicker in 1924. Her mother, AnnaBelle, was the second of fifteen children, and first daughter. AnnaBelle's life is one of twists and turns. Married twice, divorced twice, two daughters, and a gypsy spirit. The story leads into Carolyn's life as the journey continues. Her childhood, marraige, loves, temptations, and the decisions that would remain in her heart and haunt her dreams. As she will eventually learn...The heart does go on. The author has added her poetry to the flow of the story. She has also included photographs of the family to help bring the story to life for the readers. Some of these date from the early 1900's.

Both she and her mother possess the gypsy spirit that would prove to be difficult to control at times. The continuing saga of the Wicker and Bollan women attests to the strength of these families. From 1924 to 2007, a lifetime of dreams, a lifetime of journeys. Throughout the book you will find the subtle humor Carolyn uses in everyday life. You will also find family photographs that span the timeline of the story. As with her first book, she hopes this will bring the family to life for her readers.

People for years have studied the mysteries of life trying to unravel the truth behind the divine existence of human’s, where and when it started and how it evolved to where we are today. Many people don’t believe in reincarnation and yet many others do. The possibility of the “past life” phenomenon is quite unique and puzzling. To consider that we have all lived before, had different lives, lived in different times that is a fantastic conception. In thought, wouldn’t it be wild and wonderful to have many different lives?
