INSTANT NATIONAL BESTSELLER From the former Chief Justice of Canada—a riveting thriller starring Jilly Truitt, a rising young defense attorney faced with a case that hits close to home. When everyone has something to hide, the truth is the only defense. There’s nothing Jilly Truitt likes more than winning a case, especially against her former mentor, prosecutor Cy Kenge. Jilly has baggage, the residue of a dark time in a series of foster homes, but that’s in the past. Now she’s building her own criminal defense firm and making a name for herself as a tough-as-nails lawyer willing to take risks in the courtroom. When the affluent and enigmatic Vincent Trussardi is accused of his wife Laura’s murder, Jilly agrees to defend him, despite predictions that the case is a sure loser and warnings from those close to her to stay away from the Trussardi family. Determined to prove everyone wrong, Jilly investigates Laura’s death, hoping to discover a shred of evidence that might give the jury a reasonable doubt. Instead, she is confronted by damning evidence and uncooperative witnesses at every turn. Someone isn’t telling the truth, but who? With her reputation and Vincent’s life on the line, Jilly tries to unravel the web of secrets surrounding Laura’s murder. As she digs deeper, she uncovers a startling revelation that will change not only the case, but her life forever. From the gritty streets of Vancouver to the fateful halls of justice, Full Disclosure is a razor-sharp thriller that pulses with authenticity and intrigue.

This book is intended to provide practical guidance when considering issues of disclosure in criminal proceedings. It is aimed at both prosecution and defence practitioners. Disclosure issues can arise in any criminal case and in many guises, from the prosecution seeking an adverse inference from the defence's failure to set out their case in the defence statement, to the defence applying for proceedings to be stayed as an abuse of process due to disclosure failings by the prosecution. It also includes checklists designed to help the reader ask the right questions when considering particular disclosure topics along with a number of precedents, pro-formas and sample documents to assist. With a Foreword by Lord Justice Fulford (Sitting in Retirement). ABOUT THE AUTHORS Narita Bahra KC is one of the most sought after and able leading defence barristers instructed to defend in heavyweight Crime and Business Crime cases. She has been instructed in a number of the high-profile cases in which disclosure failings by the Prosecuting authorities have been unmasked. In 2018, four of these cases became the subject of review by the House of Commons Select Committee. Narita's most recent success resulted in her exposing an expert witness and significant disclosure failings. She has cemented a reputation as a barrister who can skilfully deal with the most difficult of disclosure cases. Her excellent track record, high success rate and commitment to fighting fearlessly for her client's best interests make her the leading choice in high profile disclosure cases. She regularly appears on Sky News and BBC news as a legal correspondent and is a regular author and contributor to legal journals. Don Ramble is a specialist prosecution barrister with 20 years' experience in the criminal courts. He has acted as disclosure counsel in some of the highest profile criminal trials in recent years, establishing himself as an expert in the field. "Visualization, Phase 1. Related Tactics created a set of six drawings that rendered the impact of the lack of representation in the artistic field. While these drawings reference the visual language of data visualizations, they utilize formal abstraction to convey experiences that are inarticulable and unrepresentable. Artist instructions, Phase 2. Seven artists created a set of instructions that interpreted Related Tactics;s data visualizations, translating them into creative actions. These were written in the spirit of Fluxus instructions or a performance score, ranging from historical and social treatises to the poetic. Contributing artists in this phase were Einar and Jamex De La Torre, Cheryl Derricotte, Emily Leach, Corey Pemberton, Ché Rhodes, and Joyce J. Scott. Studio interpretation, Phase 3.A second group of six glass artists gathered for three days in the glass studios at Tyler School of Art and Architecture of Temple University to interpret and enact the artist instructions from the previous group. Contributing artists in this phase were Victoria Ahmadizadeh Melendez, Pearl Dick, Raya Friday, Vanessa German, Helen Lee, and Kimberly Thomas, with studio support from Davin Ebanks, Minami Oya, and Tyler graduate students and recent alumni, including Scott Cartagena and Jason McDonald."--Page 7.
