Volume five of the most important original account of the naval part of the Napoleonic Wars.

Volume 14 of the Naval Chronicle includes the first reports of the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Nelson.

From 1799 to 1819, over 1000 pages of naval news and views were published every year in The Naval Chronicle. It included action reports, foreign naval matters, biographies of officers, anecdotes, stories and poetry and the publication was quickly recognised as the most reliable and comprehensive record of naval events

Volume 12 of the Naval Chronicle contains intelligence reports and descriptions of British maritime activities in 1804.

Volume 15 of the Naval Chronicle contains the continuation of the biography of Lord Nelson and further reports of Trafalgar.
