“Penned down thoughts” is a book that holds lots of emotions. The author penned down her thoughts and feelings, not only hers but she being empathetic sometimes writes about the feelings of others too wearing their shoes. She being an introvert hardly shares her feelings and thoughts with others and pens them down. She also wants to encourage others to pen down their inner feelings which they’ve never shared with anyone. She wants to motivate the readers that feelings can be expressed through writing too even when you have none to share your pain or joy. She believes that trying is never a bad thing and that anyone who tries is never a failure. Despite several difficulties in her writing experiences, she believes everyone faces the same at different levels. She advises every reader to take it lightly, keep hurdles aside and move on. Writings are emotions and readers are motion to react to emotion. Her book “Penned down thoughts” counts all the lines for herself and you, the reader.

Lomax Freeman, a homeless man, lives in a box in Upper West Side of Manhattan. Steven Hart, who works for the New York Times, rents in the Kensington building. Lomax’s box sits outside that apartment. After living in that apartment for a short period, Steve experiences a black man who’s intelligent, sophisticated, kind, and gentle. He wonders how Lomax landed on the streets of New York homeless. He wishes to do a two-part series on Lomax. Once the paper green-lights the feature, Lomax agrees to do the article but with one condition: the tragedy that befell him is off-limits. Eventually, Steve violates the agreement when he, secretively, uncovers Lomax’s full name. Now, the question becomes, Should he include it in the article to expose Lomax’s privacy? Doesn’t he have family, someone from the past who’s in search of Lomax Emmanuel Freeman? Steve’s in a dilemma.
