This companion journal to "The Power To Dream Again!" book is a personal tool which allows you to freely document every dream, vision, trance or impression that you experience during the night watches or even during the day. This journal will allow you to not only write down the dream that God is showing you, but will also allow you to make note of relevant scriptures, images, colors, animals and the like as you continue to navigate the prophetic pathways to interpreting the meaning of your dreams. I pray that you will be able to discern when your dream is from God and when it is from the devil. Further, I pray that you will become spiritually mature enough to embrace your godly dreams and spiritually militant to go to battle against every bad dream, nightmares, or demonic enemy seeking to enter your life through your dream realm. Meditate upon your dreams through the Word of God and spend much time in prayer and worship before Him. Allow Him to minister the truth of what He is speaking and saying to you through your dreams. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. (Proverbs 25:2) In Proverbs 25:2, the Word of God speaks volumes as it admonishes us that it is an honor to be able to interpret the counsel of God that He has released through a dream, vision or even a parable. It is given to the people of God to know the mysteries and profound kingdom truths that He has encoded throughout the annuls of time and even in our dispensation. Such unveiling of mysteries has revealed economic breakthroughs, prophetic insight, the end of demonic world governments, modern day discoveries and inventions; they have unlocked divine destinies, unsurpassed wisdom and insight, divine purpose, godly relationships, deceitful enemies and so much more. Our God is an awesome God and worthy of all praise and glory. He is the God of all wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He has established the foundation of the world and everything in it. It is His desire that we seek to know Him; that we pursue hard after Him as He teaches us His ways, His precepts and counsel. It is truly an honor to know our God; to be able to hear and perceive Him through the mysteries with which He speaks to us. I encourage you to embrace the dream realm with godly wisdom, counsel and understanding as you seek to uncover the mysteries and hidden messages in your dreams as God gives them to you! I pray that on this journey that you truly find the power and courage to dream again!!.....God bless you!

Meditations that beautifully articulate a contemporary Christian wisdom Through a series of short, thoughtful meditations, Learning to Dream Again shows what true wisdom -- wisdom shaped by Jesus' earthy humility, shameful suffering, and effervescent joy -- might look like for Christians today. Through the lens of this Christian wisdom, Samuel Wells addresses a number of difficult personal and social issues, including taxes, abortion, torture, hunger, and Christian engagement with broader culture in the arts, sciences, athletics, and medicine. As he seeks to present a faithful rendering of the mind of Christ, Wells deftly ties abstract ideas to everyday Christian living. He groups his meditations thematically into these six chapters: Learning to Love Again Learning to Live Again Learning to Think Again Learning to Read Again Learning to Feel Again Learning to Dream Again Beautifully written and extraordinarily insightful, Learning to Dream Again is both for Christians who have been to church for years but long to ponder the ambiguities and hard questions of faith and life and for new Christians who are just beginning to investigate how the gospel connects to their most searching questions.

MultiVerse does for superheroes what Rob Sturma's first anthology Aim For The Head did for zombies: It tackles what could be dismissed as a genre novelty and through the words of page and stage poets, finds the heart, pathos, and humor involved in the otherworld of those with superhuman abilities. Welcome to an examination of the many facets of what it means to be a hero.

There are four ways to revitalize a church, organizationally speaking. The easiest change is policy change. You simply adjust the way you do things. A second strategy is to change personnel. Firing the minister or electing new lay leaders is a common approach. Another change tactic is to create new program structures. Reorganization plans are familiar in institutions of all kinds. Change policy. Change people. Change programs. Each of these approaches has its advocates. But the approach I suggest is the most basic of all--clarify purpose. The fourth way to revitalize a church is to define and act on its fundamental purpose. A new dream awakes a congregation. A poster motto challenges: ÒAim for the sun. You may not reach it, but you will fly higher that if you never aimed at all.Ó --from the Foreword

At the time of his death in 1998, Alfred Kazin was considered one of the most influential intellectuals of postwar America. What is less well known is that Kazin had been contributing almost daily to an extensive private journal, which arguably contains some of his best writing. These journals collectively tell the story of his journey from Brooklyn's Brownsville neighborhood to his position as a dominant figure in twentieth-century cultural life. To Kazin, the daily entry was a psychological and spiritual act. To read through these entries is to reexperience history as a series of daily discoveries by an alert, adventurous, if often mercurial intelligence. It is also to encounter an array of interesting and notable personalities. Sketches of friends, mistresses, family figures, and other intellectuals are woven in with commentary on Kazin's childhood, early religious interests, problems with parents, bouts of loneliness, dealings with publishers, and thoughts on the Holocaust. The journals also highlight his engagement with the political and cultural debates of the decades through which he lived. He wrestles with communism, cultural nationalism, liberalism, existentialism, Israel, modernism, and much more.Judiciously selected and edited by acclaimed Kazin biographer Richard Cook, this collection provides the public with access to these previously unavailable writings and, in doing so, offers a fascinating social, historical, literary, and cultural record.
