The Viking Tales

Skald's at one time were the one that passed down the ancient stories among the Viking clans, trusting these famed story tellers to pass down the wisdom of past generations down to young and old alike. Within these pages are some of those stories told by the Icelandic skald's. Stories of their ancient heroes and the eventual journey west which brought them to their new volcanic and cold homes of Iceland.

Many of the incidents in this story really did happen-the others might well have happened to a boy like John.
