The Window Of My Soul A Journey Of Hope

As a young girl, I sat by my bedroom window dreaming about what my life would be, hoping for a better destiny, but not being able to see out because of the chaos within. Growing up facing trails after trails, I learned the power of faith. In my journey, I was able to see through the eyes of God and overcome obstacles, and I never gave up. Th rough my book, Th e Window of My Soul, a Journey of Hope, it is my heart’s desire to inspire and empower you to live your best life now and to help you break barriers that have been holding you hostage and keeping you from making your dreams a reality. All things are possible if you believe!

It all started with a poem that I sent to Mother Teresa when she was still with us. The poem was called 'The Nun I Love". She responded with a letter thanking me for the poem and, inviting me to come work with her and the Sisters of Charity in Calcutta, India. I could not resist answering her invitation and gladly accepted. Over 300 pages with 100+ quotes and pictures from Ana's journey to Calcutta.

The silence was shattered by a deep, thunderous man's voice. It sounded like it came from a place of great power. Commanding yet reassuring, it said, "This is a message from God. You are my chosen one. You are going to do something extraordinary with your life." After hearing this voice, Bridget suffered a series of life-altering events that left her unable to perform simple, rote tasks, caused her to avoid all contact with everyone but her immediate family, and led to her being admitted to a psychiatric unit for two nights. Follow along to see how she embarks on her journey of healing, from seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist to finding the right balance of medication needed to get her back to where she was before hearing the voice. This book explains what bipolar disorder is, outlines medications that work to combat it, describes Bridget's journey with God, and talks about how the stigma of mental illness has been somewhat alleviated but that there is still work to be done. Bridget hopes the book brings comfort to people with mental illness and helps them feel less lonely. Life is a school for Soul to experience all it needs to unfold and come to a better understanding of unconditional love and God. This set of poems represents a small snapshot of life lessons captured at the beginning of my journey in this lifetime.

I dedicate this book to my father and mother. Without them I would not have become the person I am. I was born in 1938 to a wonderful set of parents; my mother and father were people who gave of themselves. They instilled so many virtues in me that I am very thankful for. To my family who had to put up with me through the good times and the bad. To everyone that I have met along the way while I was following my life’s path. And most of all to God, whose help has given me the desire for knowledge and the courage to follow my heart. Without that, I would not have accomplished the things I’ve done.
