Each chapter is devoted to one of the period's major manufacturers -- John Deere, Farmall, Caterpillar, Oliver, Minneapolis-Moline, Ford, and more -- and the values listed are based on prices actually realized at auction. In addition, two expert collectors compare their notes on each model, while the expert photography of Randy Leffingwell depicts the tractors and crawlers discussed.
