Time Resolved Inverse Gas Chromatography And Its Applications

While there have been journal articles on the interaction of the stationary phase with well known probe solutes, in which the stationary phase of the system is the main object of investigation for characterising surface and bulk properties of solid materials, inverse gas chromatography is used to "separate" not mixtures of substances in their components, but physicochemical quantities by measuring the value of one in presence of another, e.g., the rate of a chemical reaction in the presence of diffusion phenomena.
