Tomorrow's Sacrifice is the second book in a series involving cyber terrorism. A group of (real life) friends struggle to find the source of a government conspiracy.

After realizing he let his fears of the 2020 pandemic get the better of him, Jack decided he made a hasty decision when he broke up with Rachel. He needed to find a way to win her back. This book discusses how these lay persons are inspired to lead, serve, and nurture congregations. Using the model which Jesus taught on servant leadership – “the son of man came to serve and not to be served” (Matt 20:28; Mk 10:45), an exploration is conducted on the concept of servant leadership, the characteristics and behaviors of sacrificial servant leaders, and the environmental factors that motivate sacrificial servant leaders to be effective in the Church. The purpose of this book is to encourage and motivate leaders to be sacrificial servant leaders and to enhance an effective church ministry. In this contemporary era and more than ever before, there is a need for sacrificial servant leadership and team-work to cope with the needs of the congregation. However, I approach sacrificial Servant leadership as the process of serving followers towards growth through sacrificial and selfless stewardship based on the example of Jesus Christ viewed within the Christian faith. In essence, the concepts of “sacrificial”, “selflessness”, and “stewardship” are foundational and define the larger facets of sacrificial servant leadership.

Giving to God examines the everyday practices of Islamic giving in post-revolutionary Egypt. From foods prepared in Sufi soup kitchens, to meals distributed by pious volunteers in slums, to almsgiving, these acts are ultimately about giving to God by giving to the poor. Surprisingly, many who practice such giving say that they do not care about the poor, instead framing their actions within a unique non-compassionate ethics of giving. At first, this form of giving may appear deeply selfish, but further consideration reveals that it avoids many of the problems associated with the idea of “charity.” Using the Egyptian uprising in 2011 and its call for social justice as a backdrop, this beautifully crafted ethnography suggests that “giving a man a fish” might ultimately be more revolutionary than “teaching a man to fish.”
