Over the last twenty years, I have composed a catalog of prayers for people from all walks of life. They are spread throughout my various teachings and writings. Countless people have requested these prayers to be compiled and placed in one book. This book is filled with specific prayers for issues common to mankind. Some prayers many people know to pray, and others may not be as familiar. Prayer alone is not enough in so much as, God expects us to be proactive. For example, if we're praying for self-discipline, it won't just fall upon our heads. We must purpose in our hearts and minds to be self-disciplined. We must make better choices. Prayers must coincide with action. Understanding Kingdom Prayer includes 100+ template prayers to serve as a guide for practical application. You will, of course, want to pray according to the leading of Holy Spirit, but this is a template of how to properly apply the Scriptures. With any of God's promises, the idea is to proclaim, declare, and decree those promises over situations instead of asking for God to do this or that. If He's already promised, asking is not required. Rather, we are to apply and stand in faith in His provision and resolve. Praising and thanking God is first and foremost in prayer. We ought never to be a people always asking or using His Kingdom power and authority without first thanking Him for being who and how He is-loving, merciful, gracious, kind, patient, sovereign, omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. Although I didn't write words of praise at the beginning of each prayer, praising must come first according to Matthew 6:9. After praising the Lord, the succeeding prayer should follow. Never neglect thanksgiving of God's grace and mercy. This must come solely from your authentic heart of contrition.

What exactly is Kingdom prayer? First, we need to establish that "praying without ceasing" means constant communion with God. It does not mean constantly praying ad nauseam the same ol' thing over and over until your dead! Furthermore, "Kingdom prayers," specifically, are a matter of moving the heart of God out of a spiritually mature perspective stemming from a life lived unto God alone. Kingdom prayers are not about words alone, but a heart set on God; a heart willing to put aside anything of the fleshly man and reconcile themselves unto the ways of God's holy Kingdom. Heaven is a holy Kingdom, a government. On the flipside, hell is a kingdom, an unholy government. There is a war between the two opposing governments. In order to defeat the unholy government, we must know how to unify with the holy government. We are instructed by God--the reigning King--to study to show ourselves approved of Him. That means study the constitution of His government--the Holy Bible. We cannot float along only listening to other peoples' Kingdom insight and expect that to be sufficient. We must be proactive in every area having a heart set on--but not limited to:1.Pleasing the King.2.Studying the instructions King's instructions.3.Learning the past biblical experiences of God's people to know what to and not to do.4. Living a life separated unto God.5.Learn the Word and its meaning to become equipped in the evil day.6.Knowing the tactics of the enemy to be prepared in and out of season.7.Recognizing our loyalties need to be on the Kingdom of God, not the things of Earth.8.Learning how to pray with efficacy, not prayers only during crisis mode.Over the last twenty years, I have composed a catalog of prayers for people from all walks of life. Are you praying constricted prayers or disruptive ones? Most prayers are constricted ones. They’re prayers that only focus on one part of the Lord’s Prayer: “give us our daily bread.” They’re usually focused on self and envision God as a heavenly caretaker. Disruptive prayers, on the other hand, are powerful, uncommon, and deeply biblical. They focus on God rather than self, seek to advance the kingdom, and submit all things to God. They are also prayed with a profound belief that prayer actually accomplishes something. When we pray disruptive prayers, that’s when the revolution begins. This book shows you how to equip leaders, fuel kingdom movements, and do real damage to the powers of darkness in the here and now. But most of all, discover how your own heart will be transformed as you begin to see how much bigger prayer, and God, is than you ever thought possible.

Let me preface this book by saying that any prayer to Jesus leading to God is a good prayer just as a baby does whatever necessary (crying, tugging, crawling) to gain it's parent's attention is good and effective. However, just as a baby eventually grows into maturity and order, the Christ–follower, regardless of how they begin praying, needs to grow into knowledge of more mature prayer according to Jesus. This book is for the Kingdom-minded person desiring to pray according to the Kingdom of God instead of according to the fleshly desires. We must understand that there is a distinct difference between asking in prayer and decreeing God's promises with authority and praise. Decreeing is not the same as praying. Praying, as I see it, is simply constant communion with God; it's keeping an open line of communication with God at all times in all things. Praying can be asking, praising, weeping, etc. This is the “praying without ceasing” – constant communication with Jesus. Declaring (decreeing) is strategically different. Both have to do with communication, but declaring is actually not talking to God but rather applying God's authority given us through His Son into any situation. A kingdom ambassador does not check with the king when he goes to another country or kingdom on behalf of the king. He's given the king's authority to speak and act as if he were the king himself. He is as the king.
