The premier scholar of the English-language traditional or popular ballad, Francis James Child spent decades working on his widely read and performed collection, The English and Scottish Popular Ballads. In this first single author monograph of Child's life and work, Mary Ellen Brown analyzes Child's editorial methods, his decisions about which ballads to include, and his relationships with colleagues at Harvard and abroad. Brown draws on his extensive correspondence with collaborators to trace the production of his monumental work from conception and selection through organization and collation of the ballads. Child's Unfinished Masterpiece shows readers what was at stake in Child's search for original manuscript materials housed at libraries and estates far afield and his desire to uncover unedited versions of previous editors' texts. In analyzing Child's letters, Brown also delves into his important network of collaborators, scholars, and friends such as William Macmath, Sven Grundtvig, James Russell Lowell, and Charles Eliot Norton, who influenced the organization and content of his work. Readers learn about the questions Child faced as an editor: whether the materials he gathered were authentic, whether a piece was more ballad or a song, or whether the text was sufficiently old or traditional. In showing Child's struggles with content and organization for The English and Scottish Popular Ballads, Brown notes the difficulty in defining the ballad genre while also showing that a clear definition is not a fatal flaw of the volume or to scholars' continued study of it.

My book examines women's thoroughly and fairly; by the word of God, it is this fairness that makes the novel so riveting and thought-provoking, and so perfect for triggering discussions. This is a great inspiring book, of the creation of women by God in human form, God could have taken anything to create the apple of his eye but he chose her. That’s why she is His Masterpiece of Creation, if you want something to change your life, this book will wake you up and think. The author is true to his determination not to stack the deck for readers; the ending is deliberately ambiguous, with allegorical overtones, leaving readers to decide what they want to believe. I have done my research and know what you’re looking for. MY MANUSCRIPT is CHRISTIANS BASE genre of included comparison titles to give you a feeling of the book and show I know my target audience. Dear readers and friends, it was so wonderful to share this story of what God gave me to write about in the creation of woman in our life with you. Many years ago I woke up one morning with a feeling that told me I should start putting the things about His Masterpiece of creation on paper. I had no idea how to do it. I just started by jotting down the main highlights of all the things based on my experience that happened in my life over the years. Then I asked the Holy Spirit to inspire me as He inspired the people who wrote the Bible. This is why this story I call “God Masterpiece of creation woman” It amazed me how i never knew how to write and especially something or someone to write until now. Every day when I sat down in my lazy boy to write, or laid in bed, the words just flowed. It was an amazing experience, I know that this is not my doing; it is the Lord’s doing. I know a few more stories will come as God continues to do His work. Specifically, this is why I think you (the reader) would like my novel. I have taken time to carry out my research on what you seek or need to know. I have also included comparison titles to give you a feel of the book to prove that I know my target audience. I am an interesting and a likable person judging by my character. I want the readers to use the blank pages to take notes and tell me about each paragraph after each STORY. I do not have any publishing credits, but experience in the subjects presented in the manuscript, included is a short biography. I’ll also let you know if I’m working on something else to prove to you that I am not a one-hit-wonder. But I won’t pitch that novel here.

An illuminating biography of one of the most famous--and most famously unfinished--buildings in the world, the Sagrada Familia of Barcelona. The scaffolding-cloaked spires of Antoni Gaudí's masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia, dominate the Barcelona skyline and draw in millions of visitors every year. More than a century after the first stone was laid in 1882, the Sagrada Familia remains unfinished, a testament to Gaudí's quixotic ambition, his religious devotion, and the sensuous eccentricity of his design. It has defied the critics, the penny-pinching accountants, the conservative town-planners, and the devotees of sterile modernism. It has enchanted and frustrated the citizens of Barcelona. And it has passed through the landmark changes of twentieth-century Spain, surviving two World Wars, the ravages of the Spanish Civil War, and the "Hunger Years" of Franco's rule. Gijs van Hensbergen's The Sagrada Familia explores the evolution of this remarkable building, working through the decades right up to the present day before looking beyond to the final stretch of its construction. Rich in detail and vast in scope, this is a revelatory chronicle of an iconic structure, its place in history, and the wild genius that created it.

Wandering Monk – A Mystic’s Quest for Love and Realization is a compilation of poems that reflects the spontaneous flow of thoughts and imaginations. Love, divinity, happiness, and positivity are the central theme of all the poems. The poems bring out the passion for spreading harmony, love, and joy all across. Sometimes, they take one beyond the material world, into an unexplored realm of awareness and spirituality, breaking the shackle, which usually dwells in the inner soul of people. Some of the poems provide a beautiful voice to the silent love that sits deep within our hearts. In addition, they conjure up new images of happiness and sadness, but most importantly anticipation, hope, and the desire for fulfillment. A deep spiritual longing and a soulful search for the Divine are evident in many of the poems. Whether seeking divine blessings and talking of His love and His glory, the mystic in the poet appears to be constantly reaching out to God Almighty, seeking a window through which to converse, feel, seek blessings, and eventually rejoice in His infinite love.
