Walking By Faith Swaddled In His Glory

Since I wrote the previous version of this book I have encountered many other storms. Some have been very brutal. But thanks be unto God. I believe I fought a good fight and I have intentionally kept the faith in spite of the fierce storms. God never tell us when the storms will come, however He did warn us that they will. We can be assured, that we will not walk through it alone if we truly walk by faith trusting Him every step of the way. According to the preacher in Ecclesiastes chapter three (3) and seven (7) by revelation states that God does not show us everything at once. Who would dare go through till the end knowing the outcome? We are admonished to believe only, and trust Him. After all it is for our good and not for evil to bring us to destiny. Wow! But it sure hurts...! You will grow through as you go through. All of this I have learned in this season, I am extremely grateful after the fact. It has been a season of transformation and renewal of my mind. I can now be of help to someone else. I painfully allowed myself to go through the dark moments crying out to God each step of the way. Brethren...! I truly know the way out. I know his sustaining grace and power. Through it all, I maintained a very intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father.

Welcome to the real world of broken things broken people, broken dreams and dark seasons. But, it is all-well! Don't give up; your journey can be bright. The pain of not being able to do things as I used to, travel and enjoy the scenery never crossed my mind that I would switch worlds that quickly. I find it to be a different world, and very stressful when you don't want to accept it. In the year 2002, after having surgery on my eye followed by two series of Laser interventions. I had to face reality and the fact that after working as a nurse for thirty-seven years, I would no longer work at my career. I can still hear the surgeon saying to me after my recovery, "I don't expect to see you except for your annual check ups. There isn't anything more we can do for you." I remember walking out of the office looking across the parking lot for my husband's vehicle. I could hardly see! Blinded by the sunshine I looked up to heaven and uttered these words, "God, I thank you! You said what is impossible with man is possible with you! With tears streaming down my cheek, a car drove up . . . . .! These are comforting and inspired words of Jesus, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Having to face these periods of adversity and brokenness matures us and prepares us for greatness. It also makes us a witness of his abounding grace to others. Let Him become your only source. This book: "If I Never See Another Sunshine." will encourage and empower you though there will never be a tomorrow."

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men (Titus 2:11) And be not conformed to this world but: be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2a) The focus of this book is to challenge you to come back to the cross. It will remind you of the promises of grace and its transforming power to all who seek it. It is not based on your performance it is unmerited. His love is unconditional. However, Change in an individual is not automatic. Though it is not by works it will require faith. It is important to seek to understand, and acknowledge the supernatural finished work of Calvary, in order to enjoy the benefits. To have a transformed mind is to be restful in him, no matter what the circumstance in life. There is no magical formula in regards to the fulfillment of his will in your life. It is his will for you to enjoy all of his blessings. Yet, there is a definite expectancy of the Lord, even as your expectation of him. We have the option to choose, desire and obey the word of the Lord. We do because we love him. We can walk and live victoriously, only by the power of His Holy Spirit. He has quickened us and made us alive in Him. It is the sufficiency of his grace that keeps us. This book may be used as an inspirational tool for discussions. It may also be used in Womens groups or for Bible study. It will guide you back to the central truths of the bible. Its teaching may be useful in helping you live a Spirit-led-life when its coupled with daily prayers and meditation. You may even notice an increase in your growth, and be able to help others. It also includes examples from the Old, and New Testament. The power of walking by faith is a book that every Christian needs to be victorious and receive every promise the Lord has given to us. When we don't walk by faith, then we walk by fear and that is the greatest tool of the devil to paralyze one and make one's life miserable. God wants us not to walk in fear but to walk in power, in love and in sound mind. When fear comes into one's mind, one becomes confused and one begins to do the devil's bidding. The mind is a powerful tool the good Lord has given to us and if we allow the devil to control it, he will only unleash misery unto us and cause us to be depressed. One thing the devil will put in your mind if he can gain access into it, is fear and with that fear, he will hinder you completely in life and make you not to be what God has intended you to be. The spirit of fear is what is stopping many people today from achieving things in life- be it in marriage, job, business, ministry or what have you. Fear can also lead one into poverty and lack because one is afraid to pay one's tithe and give unto the Lord. The devil will always suggest things to you and cause you not to obey the voice of God and walk in His abundance, and then stop you from connecting to God's source of supply. With this book, you will tap in into the riches of God and walk boldly by faith and claim what God says is you. When we walk by faith, we possess everything we desire from God. In short, everything we need for our lives first exists in the spirit realm, and we must by faith call it forth into the physical manifestation. When you are experiencing change in your life, it can be overwhelming and almost unbearable at times. You often wonder and sometimes ask God how long. It can affect every emotion and aspect of your life, but it does not have to be devastating. Often God will visit you right in the transition and reveal His dynamic glory just to let you know He is with you and that you will make it! Just like the birth of a child, the metamorphosis of a worm to a beautiful butterfly, and the beautiful rainbow after the storm, God will see you through to your next glory.
