This book is a look at the Book of Revelations thru the lens of the Holy Qur'an and the teachings and language of Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

This book is a humble attempt by the author to shine the light of Al-Islaam, the Holy Qur'an and the language of Imaam W. Deen Mohammed on chapters 5 & 6 of The Book of Revelations. It is my sincere belief that the Holy Scriptures are interconnected and that the Holy Qur'an is the last chapter and the key to understanding all scriptures. This book is dedicated to all the people who have struggle for freedom throughout the ages, but it is especially dedicated to the five greatest African American men born in North America in my opinion (1.) Imam W. Deen Mohammed, (2.) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., (3.) Mr. Elijah Muhammad, (4.) Mr. Abdul Malik Shabazz also known as Malcolm X, and finally Mr. Fredrick Douglas. I believe the vision seen by Dr. King in his I have a dream speech will only be fulfilled in the religion of Al Islaam (Islam). In this book, I use the spelling Imaam for Imam, Islaam for Islam because I believe it gives the novice a better sense of how the words should be pronounced. Your Humble Servant, Hassan A. Shabazz

The Revolution of Al Husayn (as) - Its Impact on the Consciousness of Muslim Society. Within the situation which existed, revolution at any time, or in any place, will have, political, social and economic causes, which impel a group of people to a movement-by force-against the existing situation, whether because that situation represents a deviation from an ideal which has been portrayed and is present in the faith of the umma, or because that situation does not respond to the aspirations of that group of people who represent the elite within the umma. By its success or failure, a revolution will produce consequences. In the case of success the consequences will be represented by the change in the conceptions and institutions in the society. This will be accomplished by their transformation from their past form to the form put forward in the slogans of the revolutionaries when they embarked on their revolution. At the time of his death in 1979, Ayatullah Taleghani was chairman of Iran's Revolutionary Council, a member of the Assembly of Experts elected to draft a constitution for a new Islamic Republic, and also leader of Friday prayers in Tehran. He had just delivered seven lectures on the Qur'an for television. He had recently travelled to northern Iran to mediate in conflicts with the Kurds. A fe months before that, in what were the final weeks of the old regime, he had arranged mourning ceremonies for masses of dead civilians and headed demonstrations calling for a new governmnet under the leadership of Khomeini. All this Taleghani accomplished in the space of mere ten months - - his release from prison for the last time had only come in November 1978. A foremost religious scholar with a reputation for independent thought, Taleghani spent most of his life in Tehran, where his outspoken opposition to the Pahlavi rulers resulted in his spending many years behind bars. There, with an inordinate amount of time for reflection and talk, he worked ceaselessly, writing his most notbale works and lecturing he fellow inmates. The prisons were packed with political dissenters, and many who have figured prominently in revolutionary Iran received theri schooling in Islam fro Taleghani.

Conversion to Islam is a phenomenon of immense significance in human history. At the outset of Islamic rule in the seventh century, Muslims constituted a tiny minority in most areas under their control. But by the beginning of the modern period, they formed the majority in most territories from North Africa to Southeast Asia. Across such diverse lands, peoples, and time periods, conversion was a complex, varied phenomenon. Converts lived in a world of overlapping and competing religious, cultural, social, and familial affiliations, and the effects of turning to Islam played out in every aspect of life. Conversion therefore provides a critical lens for world history, magnifying the constantly evolving array of beliefs, practices, and outlooks that constitute Islam around the globe. Christian Martyrs under Islam explains how Christians across the early Islamic caliphate slowly converted to the faith of the Arab conquerors and how small groups of individuals rejected this faith through dramatic acts of resistance, including apostasy and blasphemy. Using previously untapped sources in a range of Middle Eastern languages, Christian Sahner introduces an unknown group of martyrs who were executed at the hands of Muslim officials between the seventh and ninth centuries CE. Found in places as diverse as Syria, Spain, Egypt, and Armenia, they include an alleged descendant of Muhammad who converted to Christianity, high-ranking Christian secretaries of the Muslim state who viciously insulted the Prophet, and the children of mixed marriages between Muslims and Christians. Sahner argues that Christians never experienced systematic persecution under the early caliphs, and indeed, they remained the largest portion of the population in the greater Middle East for centuries after the Arab conquest. Still, episodes of ferocious violence contributed to the spread of Islam within Christian societies, and memories of this bloodshed played a key role in shaping Christian identity in the new Islamic empire.
