The Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) has conducted the Environmental exposure related activity pattern research of Chinese population (Adults). Exposure Factors Handbook of Chinese Population (Adults) was compiled based on the results from this study. Highlights of the Chinese Exposure Factors Handbook is a brief introduction to the content of Exposure Factors Handbook of Chinese Population (Adults). In each chapter, definitions, possible influence factors, and survey methods have been introduced, followed by recommended values for urban/rural areas, different genders, age groups and regions with information of mean, median and P5, P25, P75, P95 values. Available online: https://pub.norden.org/temanord2023-508/ This is a timely revision and update of the Nordic report on existing default values and recommendation for exposure assessments, from 2011. The report aims to give an updated overview of non-chemical-specific exposure factors to be used by the authorities during the process of assessing exposure to both adults and children, especially in risk assessment in relation to REACH. This contributes towards a further harmonization of such exposure factors to be used in exposure assessments. In the report the recommended values for the non-chemical specific exposure factors are represented. The focus of this report is to be used in the context of REACH, however, the recommended values can also be used in the broader context of chemical regulations.

Exposure Therapy refers to any clinical intervention in which a client directly confronts a source of fear. Since high levels of anxiety can not be maintained indefinitely, repeated exposure leads to decreased anxiety. This type of treatment is effective with phobias, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, panic, generalized anxiety, and several other disorders. It's also been found to be effective in helping to treat substance abuse. Although exposure-based treatments have been extensively researched and reported in the literature, there is no single comprehensive treatment of exposure therapies.
