With an interdisciplinary approach, Edwards utilizes literature, aesthetics, world religions, and continental philosophy as avenues into the theology of natural beauty. This is an epistemological look at our aesthetically charged knowing of God through nature. Emphasizing our embodied experience of the world, Edwards examines the phenomenon of perceptual beauty, while questioning traditional notions of God's metaphysical "beauty." Drawing upon Michael Polanyi's philosophy of science, Edwards explores the human aesthetic and religious interface with the natural world. This philosophical approach is then linked to the poetic: Polanyi's "tacit knowledge" and Jean-Luc Marion's "saturated phenomena" give support to Wordsworth's "pregnant vision" of the natural world. This approach culminates in a re-envisaging of John Ruskin's typology of natural beauty: Ruskin's vision of the world can be adapted toward an understanding of natural revelation. Edwards brings this Romantic theology back across the Atlantic in dialogue with American nature writers and the uniquely American experience of wilderness and "frontier."

Rarely do theologians take up the theme of God's beauty--even more rarely do they consider how God's beauty should shape the task of theology itself. But the psalmist says that the heart of the believer's desire is to behold the beauty of the Lord. In The Beauty of the Lord Jonathan King restores aesthetics as not merely a valid lens for theological reflection, but an essential one. Jesus, our incarnate Redeemer, displays the Triune God's beauty in his actions and person, from creation to final consummation. How can and should theology better reflect this unveiled beauty? The Beauty of the Lord is a renewal of a truly aesthetic theology and a properly theological aesthetics. --

I AM bringing out this information 'In the Real Beginning' so that all women should have this knowledge because women are a very important phenomenon. Today! I want to decode that word, WOMAN ""Mother."" MOTHER is not an original pronunciation and spelling of that word. What you call MOTHER is part of the twisting of the tongue of words from the original formulation of all the languages in the world. Every language is a single WORD and I have the original records and the meanings of all words with ME. The original language of MOTHER is MU-UDIM. MOTHER is actually a twist of the tongue of MU-UDIM and it means mme udim (multitude). The FATHER means single. One thing is FATHER and MOTHER means plentiful and followers and it means creation. WOMAN means MU-UDIM. WOMAN means 'WE', OURSELVES. I will decode all that later in this Lecture Revelation so that you know these things. This is The Real Beginning that I AM revealing now to all humankind.

Intuitive logical thinking would suggest that Revelation should be: One biblically coherent and complete narration, That uses only natural and biblical symbols, To retell God's consistent work from beginning to end; That reveals Jesus and his resurrection as the focus; To call for decisive response from every person, For the creation which God loves and will glorify; To close God's written oracle to humankind. But almost no one has been able to demonstrate these. Through the lens of God bringing his created order from the beginning to his final Sabbath in Jesus Christ, and noticing an overlooked peculiarity of Revelation (chapter 20 is glaringly different to the rest of the chapters), the "mysteries" of Revelation are shown to be plainly manifested truths already in the Bible rather than esoteric and hidden teachings still to be deciphered. Centering Jesus in all things, Revelation filters out inconsequential and errant teachings and highlights the essential core of Judeo-Christianity to prompt a response from every person made in God's image. Poignantly, it shines a light on the current global crises--environmental, political, religious, and economic. This book's common-sense, context-first exegesis sets it apart from most other Revelation commentaries on the market.
