The 7th Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science Education International Seminar (MSCEIS) was held by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) and the collaboration with 12 University associated in Asosiasi MIPA LPTK Indonesia (AMLI) consisting of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED), Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), Universitas Negeri Manado (UNIMA), Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM), Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDHIKSA), Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG), and Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). In this year, MSCEIS 2019 takes the following theme: "Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science Education for Addressing Challenges and Implementations of Revolution-Industry 4.0" held on October 12, 2019 in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.

This is the first comprehensive research monograph devoted to the use of augmented reality in education. It is written by a team of 58 world-leading researchers, practitioners and artists from 15 countries, pioneering in employing augmented reality as a new teaching and learning technology and tool. The authors explore the state of the art in educational augmented reality and its usage in a large variety of particular areas, such as medical education and training, English language education, chemistry learning, environmental and special education, dental training, mining engineering teaching, historical and fine art education. This two volume proceedings, LNCS 13445 and 13446, constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Computer Graphics, XR Salento 2022, held in Lecce, Italy, July 6–8, 2022. Due to COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held as a hybrid conference. The 42 full and 16 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 84 submissions. The papers discuss key issues, approaches, ideas, open problems, innovative applications and trends in virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, applications in cultural heritage, in medicine, in education, and in industry.
