Each qualifying sire is listed ahead of his mates, his leg-band number being printed in italics. His qualifying mates are listed by leg-band numbers, which are preceded by asterisks. The qualifying mates of nonqualifying sires are also listed by leg-band numbers but no asterisks are used.
