Scott Foresman Early Reading Intervention is based on Project Optimize, a five-year longitudinal research study by Dr. Edward J. Kame?enui and Dr. Deborah C. Simmons. It identifies at-risk children in kindergarten and grade 1 and provides intervention to improve reading achievement. Research shows 97% okindergarten children who were taught with our program experienced faster achievement rates and were able to sustain that level of achievement into second grade.
