Great I

In this booklet compiled from Life-study of John, Witness Lee considers the case of the adulterous woman in John 8. This chapter reveals that among human beings there are two things: a religion and a living Person, the great I Am. Through this case, we see that “the religion of the law, as represented by the temple, cannot set people free from sin and its death, but that the Lord Jesus as the I Am, becoming the Son of Man lifted upon the cross for the serpent-poisoned people, can do what religion and law cannot do. The religion of law-keeping is versus the great I Am” (p. 1).

The Great I Am El Gran Yo Soy I get strength from God and my mother. I get perseverance from God and my father. Even when I struggle, Im on my knees praying, because I know Hes near. What do I have to fear? God is with me. Strong I am in the greatness of God, THE GREAT I AM!

The world is not getting any better, and so people getting old and need to be restored is like America; they need to make a marketing review for the next movement. That is why we need to work for it, and in this book, we can find the answer that American needs to do as a big nation and as a leader to save the generation to come. Just used your head, but stay in your heart.

God told Moses, SI Am that I Am . It is a name, but also an explanation of who God is. Throughout the Bible God described Himself using the phrase SI Am . This volume examines many of the instances when God used the term and brings light to the deeper meaning and wonderful significance to us, both as believers and unbelievers alike.

The author would take his readers on a ride from the Self-Revelation of the I-AM that the Lord God is with Moses, through King David, to the I-AM of the Messiah of Israel and of the Incarnation, and to the I-AM of the Dogma of the Church as the People of God. It is argued that the Grace and Truth of the Lord God cannot rightly be grasped in all of their depth in the world without becoming able to integrate both the continuity and the discontinuities of this Revelation with us, even in our own times.
