“There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens” -Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV) This Scripture is one that I hold very close to my heart... it speaks to me of the cycle of life. In it, God underlines the inevitability of change. Nothing will stay the same – the good or the bad. Everything has ‘a season.’ Life is full of seasons: some last longer than others, some are more difficult than others, and some we miss. Throughout this book, I will share with you some insights and reflections on the seasons that I have journeyed through, and that I have witnessed in those around me. Also, I will share spiritual enlightenment, Scripture readings, and information. Through my words, I hope that God will pour out His blessings upon you and upon anyone with whom you share them. I want to dedicate this book to my daughter Isabella without whose encouragement and foresight I would not have started writing. Also, to my husband Raymond for his constant loving support and wisdom-filled words.

"We long for connections in the midst of disconnected lives - connections to ourselves, to others, to the world we live in. Most of all, we yearn to connect with the sacred. In The Circle of Life, Joyce Rupp and Macrina Wiederkehr invite us to listen carefully and closely to the wisdom of each season. Using reflections, poems, prayers, and meditations, they explore the relationship between the seasons of the earth and the seasons of our lives. The Circle of Life encourages readers to connect their experience of the unfolding seasons with inner spiritual growth and movement, and to know that the presence of God is within and around us all"--Publisher's description.

Unique among books about the Wiccan Sabbats, Celebrating the Seasons of Life: Samhain to Ostara takes a different approach to explaining the holidays by taking an in-depth look at half of the Wheel of the Year. Rather than dissecting each holiday, Ashleen's goal is to take a broader look at them, explaining how and why we celebrate each, along with how the celebration of one leads to the next. The first of two new titles from Ashleen offers a vision of the holidays we celebrate from October to March. This book covers each holiday by first giving us its history and original customs, then explaining its place in modern life. Stories are shared for each Sabbat to reconnect us with our lore and bring new meaning to current practice. Ashleen includes ideas for rituals that are ideal for practicing solitaries, covens, or Wiccan families, with special sections on what children of various ages are ready to learn about these holidays.

There will be a day when we will have no more tears, sadness, fears, pain, and suffering. These are part of Jeremy Camp's song ", There Will be a Day." In this powerful song Matthew listened about the burdens of earth going away some day. God is going to wipe away the tears that we have. So here we are, with our burdens and our crosses. However, there is so much joy, hope, happiness, and strength in the world. There is a lot to enjoy in this life. Until that day that Jeremy Camp tells about, we will be on this earth. We might as well seek and find the joy that is present in this world. We are all together in this world. As we go on our journeys let us not forget this. Currently Matthew is a graduate student on route to be a licensed professional counselor. Matthew tries to find joy in each day and hopes that his poems speak to you. Matthew also hopes that we all listen to, are compassionate to, as well as are empathetic to, other people in the world. We need to work together on our right paths, and with God anything is possible. We just have to listen to and follow His will. Matthew prays and hopes that when we are together on our journeys we realize our togetherness. Religion, ethnicity, size, gender, and distance do no separate us from the love of each other. Our Higher Power, whatever Great Power that may be, in Matthew's case, Jesus Christ, keeps us on the right path. We are all human and will falter, but Jesus calls us back to Him with open arms to a life of complete fulfillment.
